Well said Biggins!
Preston, I think you need to give yourself treat days (like DIane has been doing, they're not huge, but you'll feel like you've earned it, which you have), just to take the edge off your 'journey' (I sound like a reality show, but you know what I mean). Don't forget the amazing things you've already achieved - this is a teeny tiny blip in the grand scheme of things.
That bike ride sounds horrendous (but well done!)... yesterday OH and I got soaked on our way home. Me from the knees down as I had a tiny brolly, OH all over... since I slow him down (I can't keep the pace I used to!) I made him rush home without me (took some persuading, the gent!) and though it seemed I was not too bad, my bag gave way about 2 houses from home. Lucky I was under a tree and not much damage done... so anyway, well done on that bike ride!
