Menu of the day:
Special K clusters and a black coffee (300 calories)
Asda tomato and basil soup, a slice of wholemeal bread and an apple (300 calories)
Piperade a la Preston (443 calories) strawberry jelly and strawberries (50 calories)
100 calories to spare - I may have 4 water crackers with marmite as a snack sometime.
I'm only working 3 hours today - long story but have flexi to take or I lose it and swapped a day off etc so a very cushy day hence I've already done my DVD and I will do a 4 mile walk later as I've loads of free time
Have a fab holiday havingascreen and enjoy the Tapas

Enjoy yourself in Allicante, Havingascreen!
Today's Menu:
1) 2 Weetabix with skimmed milk and a handful of mixed dried fruit.
2) 2 Chicken and stuffing sandwiches with English mustard in soft brown wholemeal rolls.
3) Beans on toast with HP sauce.
4) Celery and carrot sticks with sour cream dip. Pot of Earl Grey Tea (Money can't b*y you happiness, but it can b*y you tea and that's pretty much the same thing!) with added decadence and panache in the form of a lemon slice.
Good luck with your culinary endeavours, Diane!

Re: Weight Watchers
It was absolutely delicious thank you so much for the recipe, I had it with a green salad, balsamic vinegar and a piece of baguette (used my 100 calories for this instead of water crackers and marmite) if I was a drinker it would be lovely with a glass of red wine (I can't stand the stuff myself but it looks like the type of food to go with it - I'm a water girl) - I am so full now so I might go and sit in the garden and read my book with a cup of black coffee. I had been for my walk so was really hungry and now very happyPreston1990 wrote:Good luck with your culinary endeavours, Diane!![]()

Re: Weight Watchers
Very well done Diane
you deserve to get praise for all you have achieved. Feeling so much better in yourself is worth more than a medal. You have helped me too with your encouragement and I hope to follow in your footsteps and lose another stone in weight before October.
Now that you are a slim size 12 be careful in case Preston invites you to his place - don't go in the back of his car!!!
I was working yesterday but wasn't sitting invigilating as I got the job of going round checking everything so was on my feet for over three hours running around the building. I walked to the cinema last night so I got a good bit of exercise yesterday.
Had my usual breakfast of cup of tea and cereal this morning. Going to friends for a sandwich lunch but haven't yet decided about tonight's meal.
Have a good day.

Got to work way too early for a meeting this morning so went for a quick walk and discovered doughnut peaches in a local greengrocers they are absolutely delicious so b*ght a dozen to share luckily we are all friends as they are so juicy you need a tissue to stop you from dribbling, they were devoured in 10 minutes flat so had to pop out at lunch time to get some for home.
