She managed to loose half her body weight (12.5 stone), it took her years but was probably healthier that way. She started with weight watchers but soon discovered you can do it on exercise and healthy food. Then she moved to Scotland, found love and made the blog into a book. She still blogs, has all her old entries dating back to 2001 in Archive, before and after pics, weight loss tips, recipes... give it a browse!
wow...she is truly amazing. I wish I were her now!!
Perfect perfect role model. No fast tracking, healthy eating, regular exercise, built into an enjoyable life-long lifestyle. That's the kind of model everyone to aspire to.

But hey check out Diane ;) 2lbs whoa!...oh and Preston too, well done, dont forget as you get closer to your goals the rate will slow down and the climatic finishing battle ensues, just like any movie or book, and that's biggest fun, knowing you nearly there, your charging roars get louder ;)

And keep it going guys, watching this thread gets more exciting everytime I pop by, as I see the tracker tape signatures drawer closer and closer to the finish line o/ o/ o/

Thanks for the "Good Luck" and "Congratulations" messages everyone. o/

Like Diane said the other day, I couldn't have come this far without the presence of my fellow weight-loss journey travellers and all of our supporters who offer continued encouragement and advice on this thread! So...... "Thank You Very Much Everyone"!

And......

Well Done Diane - for yet another successful week's result. :cheer:

You'll be too thin for this place soon! ;)

:shifty: How are your two "problem areas" shaping up these days, girl? :shifty: :p

Well Done to Biggins too - for keeping up with the swimming. Fantastic exercise - I keep on meaning to get myself involved with some of that!

Today's Menu:

1) Black coffee. Natural yoghurt with fresh raspberries and a dollop of honey. This was dellish!! o/

2) Chicken with Dsixtyfive onion marmalade in white bun x 2.

3) Jacket potato filled with flaked (tinned in brine) tuna, red pepper, black olive and light mayonaise. Side salad.

4) Earl Grey Tea. Toast with salmon mousse.

As always plenty of water throughout the day!!

Today's Exercise:

Another day of rest - saving myself for tomorrow when I will be endeavouring to keep up with my mate and his new high tech, high spec, super dooper, expensive, state of the art, all singing and dancing bicycling machine!

It really does have all the good gear on it (like hydraulic brakes) and I thought it was even fitted with a hanging basket, when I saw a photo of it - it turned out that it was his new cycle helmet hanging from the handlebars :D

Have to agree with all the well done posts - really inspirational! Your families must be so proud of you all!

Preston 1lb is great - makes me (arguably this is irrelevant) feel better that you must be eating more than you were and it's a healthier more sustainable weight loss. And don't forget you've already lost a huge amount of weight.

Diane, can't get that link to work, but expect you will make a great choice, since you always do.

Pat yourselves on the back people!!!

It really is buzzing on this thread at the moment and its so true that as its getting closer to the end of the tickers you do get on a high hence it feels wrong doing no exercise today and thanks so much to everyone for your support o/

As for my problem areas   I feel that my inner thighs will get there but as for the chest situation  :noo: When I get to my target I will re assess and may carry on for a few a bit longer depending on how I look and feel or it maybe just exercise I need to go.
