Well done Biggins that is amazing you are doing brilliantly :cheer:

Welcome back ClareBarr and so pleased that you are feeling good. I make my smoothies with milk and they are really a substantial breakfast and do keep you going until lunch. My menus are all really filling as I'm naturally very greedy so I like a lot of good food for my calories and the kitchen scales are brilliant.

Welcome to the lovely Ejwrank o/

Have fun with the silky legs Preston - waxing lasts longer and you will be more aerodynamic ;)

Morning everyone

Menu of the day:
Strawberry and a banana smoothie (250 calories)
Out for lunch but have a few 400 calorie options depending on where we go - I mean like Starbucks or somewhere like that
Chicken cooked in a Mediterranean style somehow, basically I've got chicken, tomatoes, courgettes, aubergines, onions, mushrooms, garlic, fresh basil, tarragon and new potatoes so I will make a 500 calorie meal with all that food followed by a doughnut peach (50 calories)

Exercise of the day will be a 4 mile walk this evening.

What is everyone else up to today? Have a fun day everyone - looking forward to reading everyone's menus of the day not only because I'm interested but so I can copy ideas and exercise programmes.

I hope everyone is in the Olympic spirit and doing their bit of exercises ;)

I've exploring around for recipes (Preston, Diane, Anakin, your menus are awesome btw) but I need a touch more guidance as I have the worst cooking skills on the planet, I'm just not a natural...but I do try and tbh I'm not so bad now. The reason I dont post up recipes is because my meals are quite basic and lack some flair, something I need to improve on. Anyway, I discovered this page on Sparkpeople that you may notice I link to often when suggesting exercises. I didnt realise how bloody good their site was for overall healthy living and fitness.

This page, enables you to set the number of calories, indicate if you want low carb (my preference), low GI, low fat etc, and even indicate how long you need to prep and cook. It then lists a range of recipes according to your criteria. Brilliant. Please check it out and let me know what you think, if the recipes are good etc.
