No!!! The Hairy Bikers wouldn't be the same without a bit of belly!! I quite like Si!! Would look better with a decent haircut though!!

Perhaps Diane would lend Si her Rio Total Body Waxing Hair Removal Kit. That would tidy him up a bit, but as she recycles the used wax you'll obviously need to avoid her peach doughnuts in future if she does!

:rofl2: I think he likes having silky legs ;) Due to popular demand please may we have your recipes of the day back? o/

I second that!! I not only like reading all your menus, I also like hearing what 'keep fit' you're all doing. All of you are an inspiration. You're all different .. different lifestyles, ages, fitness .. I like to take a bit of what each of you do/eat and try to fit it into my own routine - or at least intend to!!

Diane, I was really pleased to see Steve comment on how good you look. People who see you every day don't often see any difference, so it's great when someone genuinely notices a change. My Son (who DOES see me every day, but obvo doesn't take much notice of me!) saw me walking up the road towards him last week and didn't realise it was me!! I've recently lost a stone, mainly due to stress(!) but also a few healthier choices!! I was well chuffed when my boy said "Wow! Mum, you look slimmer!" ... then he added "I thought it was a bloke walking towards me!!" ... thanks, Son!! (I wear make up and have shoulder-length hair, but was wearing jeans and a polo top, so possibly not that feminine!!)

Si doesn't need to be completely hairless!! Just a nice, manly haircut!! I don't like fellas with long hair usually. I'm not that into beards and tashes either, but he wouldn't be himself without the facial hair or his belly!! And in regard to avoiding Diane's peach duffnuts, if Si did use the wax .. aren't peaches meant to be hairy??!!

I read previously, Diane, that you love the peach doughnuts. I've seen them, but never tried them. I like most fruit, but one of my 'indulgent' fruits is passion fruit. I wish they'd make a giant one of those!!

Yikes, you kept that quiet! Well done on losing that stone! I don't think you can lose quite so much from stress, so well done! All those healthy choices clearly p*y off!

Believe me - i've had a lot of stress!! I just suddenly realised my clothes were slightly big on me, decided to get on the dreaded scales and was very pleasantly surprised!! The stress is mainly due to my four kids!! I imagine they'll continue to be 'pains', so I might even lose another stone!!

That made me laugh with your son they do have a way with words my OH told me today that I don't waddle as much
The compliment is there but you have to dig a bit deeper to find it  All men aren't all as nice as the lovely steve.
Well done on your stone weight loss that is brilliant and I hope that most of it is due to the healthy choices rather than the stress; I really hope that whatever the cause of your stress has gone and I'm amazed at how kind you've been with your constant encouragement when you have been going through a tough time yourself while still looking out for others :bighug:

The doughnut peaches are delicious and really good value I got 6 for £1 - they don't last very long and soon go soft so just b*y what you need for a few days.

Anakin the pea soup looks lovely and I will be giving it a go. o/

Thanks, Diane. This is gonna sound 'mushy', but seriously, this website has cheered me up no end at times. The funny comments. And most on here, particularly the 'regulars', are sooooo nice and thoughtful and caring, it keeps you from forgetting that not everyone is 'horrible'!! And talking of good value ... I b*ght a scoop of plums the other day for £1 - there's about 40 in the scoop!! And only me eating them, my daughter a few!! I feel like Preston when he makes too much curry and no-one else eats it!!!

What?................... and you are only just telling us now

Anyhow, that certainly calls for a lusty:

:cheer: WOOHOO! - WELL DONE, JOJOJOANNE! :cheer:

Success of that order needs to be flaunted. So....

If anything deserves getting yourself a weight loss ticker thingy, that has surely got to be it! And,.....what better time than now. Seriously consider proceding without delay to set one up by clicking on this link Here o/

That goes for anyone else too. Get a ticker in your signature and start to monitor your progress - it's a great motivator! Just ask our own newly svelte Diane. :D

:shifty: Diane and myself have become pretty close over the past few months, so I know that she won't mind me sharing this little snippet with you JoJo. :shifty: Keep it to yourself though because I wouldn't want to embarrass her. Anyhow, rumour has it before she got her "ticker" she did the modelling for today's Google homepage picture 8O - I'm serious, if you don't believe me go and have a look - Click Thats her on the diving board! No really!!

She's nothing like that now of course, as Steve will testify! And.... it's been accomplished in only a few months!! Proof if it were needed that the ticker works!! ;)

Anyhow, enough joking for a moment. I just want to echo what Diane said in her post above. I can't better what she said or the sentiments behind it - so I'll just repeat it here.

I too hope that most of your weight-loss is due to the healthy choices rather than the stress and I really hope that whatever the cause of your stress it has now gone. I too am amazed at how kind you've been with your constant encouragement for others when you have been going through a tough time yourself. You leave Diane alone!! Go and make a mountain of curry!!

I didn't realise myself that I was losing any weight, because I don't regularly weigh myself unless I'm dieting. But now I know, I wana try and be more sensible, eating-wise!! I love most foods, especially 'good' foods, which helps!! But I'm not 'going on a diet' and weighing myself regularly at the moment cos I know I can't put 100% into it yet. But I am definitely inspired by all of you and will let you know the result when I next visit the scales!!
