I was glad of the ending even if it was bad, the glasgow showcase has to be the worst cinema ive been to! The most uncomfotable seats with no head rest and along with the warmth I couldn't sit still so apoligies if you where near me. Definetly ruined the film for me, think i'll watch it again when it comes out on dvd to see if I like it more.

I couldn't believe they decided to use this song again at the end, it certainly didn't do anything to quell the feeling that I'd seen all this before.

More secret programmes and shadowy CIA figures and rogue agents in another cat and mouse plot which took an age to shake itself free of the end of Bourne Ultimatum.

Once it got going the leads were good and there were a couple of decent action scenes, some spoilt slightly by too much shaky cam, but I think it was in two minds whether it wanted to have a gritty realism or be an all action Bond like spy movie, the end in particular reminded me of Terminator!
and surely leaving dead agents scattered over the globe isn't the best way to secretly shut down a top secret programme!
Coming from Notting Hill Gate so 20 mins for me including walking through the massive Westfield to get to the Vue!

I also saw this on Tuesday at the 02, but it really didn't compare to the Bourne trilogy for me. I admire the direction they've taken, and was a big fan of Renner's performance, but it was just kind of unexciting and not nearly enough heart imbued in the script.

the metro site is up and running now but seats are all gone. however it does state:

"Sorry you have not been able to get passes again. The location you have selected has no passes left. You may wish to come back soon. More passes are due to be released on 10-08-2012."

maybe better luck for me next time.

As a stand alone film, I'd give it a generous 6/10; as a Bourne film  that'd be a 4/10 from me!
I thought this was seriously ridiculous in so many different ways... waste of a good franchise and waste of pretty talented actors.

What an adrenaline rush! It is a great continuation of the Bourne franchise and Renner is a decent action lead. The rest of the cast, especially Norton and Weisz (though strange to hear with an American accent) were good.

The previous films had some of the best car chase scenes I've ever seen and this is no exception, definitely the highlight of the film.

I thought this was an intelligent extension of the Bourne story despite the loss of Damon (and hence Bourne). My only criticism is that it does take quite a while to get going and it has a LOT of exposition, but once it gains its momentum, it is high octane stuff and it is great watching all the plot threads come together in the third act. I enjoyed the action packed climax but thought the final scene was slightly underwhelming.

There is some impressive camerawork with panning out sequences, but there were a few occasions during the fight scenes where the camera jumped between shots too quickly and became difficult to follow.

Despite all this, it is still a highly entertaining action flick which I definitely recommend and plan on seeing again.

8/10
On second viewing, I really must revise my rating.

There is just not enough action and so much exposition, far too much dialogue.

The story also doesn't hang together that well.

6/10

actually watching this made me smile at least 3 times because it reminded me of
Mission Impossible II and its idiotic scientific plot
,
The Grey for very obvious reasons
and
Terminator 2 during the police car/motorbike chase
. Anybody else thought of them?
