Mack and Mabel: Save £5 on top price tickets at the Southwark Playhouse

The latest production of musical Mack and Mabel, directed by Thom Southerland, is running at the Southwark Playhouse until 25 August. Our offer is valid until 11 August

Hollywood in the 1920s, a time when movies were silent and cinema was magic. Mack Sennett, 'King of Comedy' and creator of The Keystone Kops, discovers Mabel Normand, a waitress from Brooklyn, casts her in his two-reelers and turns her into a star.

So began one of Hollywood's most tempestuous and heart-wrenching love stories. But life isn't like the movies - ambition, dalliance and the impending but inevitable threat of change put unbearable pressure on their relationship. Romance turns to jealousy as stardom invites scandal and heartbreak.

Mack and Mabel at the Southwark Playhouse includes numbers such as Look What Happened To Mabel, I Won't Send Roses and Time Heals Everything.

Guardian Extra members can save £5 on top price tickets (normally £22.50). The offer is valid until 11 August 2012.

Save £10 with top price tickets for £42.50 to see Jumpy starring Tamsin Greig at the Duke of York's Theatre, London

A mother, a wife, and 50, Hilary (Tamsin Greig) once protested at Greenham. Now her protests tend to focus on persuading her teenage daughter to go out fully clothed.

"Will make any parent with a teenager laugh with recognition, wince with horror and cry a little too." Daily Telegraph

This shrewdly perceptive and razor-sharp new play is one of the biggest sold out hits in the Royal Court's history. To book your top price tickets for £42.50, visit jumpytheplay.com and use the code MUMSNET, or call 0844 871 7623 and quote "Mumsnet Offer". Valid for all performances until 6 October, subject to availability.
