Got to the store today and indeed there was a goody bag waiting for me!(ill have to tell the other tribute)
I got a snazzy hunger games tote bag, a mockingly pin, a poster and a district 12 journal :D

Super jealous. I scorned the free tote bag for Twilight at my local cinema (they really couldn't get rid of them at Streatham), but I'd SO wear a Hunger Games one!

I was eagerly anticipating this film. At last I feasted my eyes on this incredible journey with some great scenes and emotion.

The main lead character was very excitingly portrayed.


I watched the '12' version (online rental) so it wasn't too horrific but it didn't spoil my enjoyment.

15 version is no different except for a few splashed of blood at the cornocopia, was sort of disappointed :( hoping for more blood in the 2nd

I just watched it this weekend since I finally got around to reading the books and have to say, I was a bit disappointed. But I guess that is always the case with adaptations. You imagine the characters, events and scenery without technical or other limitations and so whatever is on the screen is bound to somewhat disagree with what you picture. If I hadn't read the books I probably would have liked it better.

Having said that, I am still going to watch Catching Fire and am pretty sure I will enjoy it.
