I gained 3 pounds over Christmas and New Year. Not as much as others, but extra weight is still an unwanted gain.

I too have the Wii Fit (not plus). And it was on there that I found out my weight gain. I do Davina's DVD (sporadically), and Wii Fit (specifically free step, boxing and yoga). I find that the WF is very gentle and low impact where as Davina's DVD (High Energy Five) is high impact, but obviously more fat burning. I would like to take a look at her new DVD as it also includes yoga.

Does anyone else do a DVD at home??

I also lost a pound, but I wasn't being very good

Before Christmas I'd started pigging out and gained about 11 pounds. The first week back after the holidays, I got a really bad stomach virus and lost a fair bit of weight, then put a couple on again, once I started eating. I reckon I've got about 7 pounds to lose to be back at my pre binge weight.

Good luck to everyone else.

aww thats awful....hope you are feeling better now..........new year new start and all that.

little battles won eventually win the war!

Thsanks MIss BB, I'm still binging a little bit, a whole packet of biscuits last night. HOwever, I've not been b*ying stuff, this is what is left in the cupboard. I am doing a lot of combat at the gym which will sort of offset it.

Hope you all had a good week. o/

I didn't get to the gym this week but I have calmed down with the food picking so feel emotionally better this week and not worrying about the weight.

I also had to cancel the Health advisor as I’m just getting better after a cold and I was feeling exhausted, but made an appointment for Tuesday…so getting there.

This cold needs a few days to clear properly then hopefully I’ll get to the gym at least once this week, think I’ll aim for Thursday/Friday.

Have a good healthy weekend everyone

Sorry not had a good start to the year, no heating, car for a week and then a cold/ dizzy virus for the past 2 weeks so just been going to bed after work!
Thanks so much TheyCallMeMrGlass for the updated spread sheet, I've been out and got loads of healthy food in so ready to start in the morning. I'm going to go for a short walk today as I've been getting breathless with my cold so haven't been able to do much so really need to get my act together. It's rubbish isn't it allsinging these colds really disrupt things, hope you're feeling better.
I will try and do the Matt Roberts DVD this week.
Looks like everyone else is getting back into it, well done everyone.

Yeah colds sucks, you have to rest and ride them out, and of course exercise is out of the question, and worse they play with your head!

So thank god for this thread ;) As it helps to us to remember that once we're over that obstacle, we can get right back on track!

Been the same with me, sort of. I have a deadline to complete a project hence a lack of quality time here. It was difficult to keep up with own mantras and I have stayed the same weight in last couple of weeks due to less activity. But still eating healthy and some badminton/cricket. I still keep repeating my goals (when I remember, lol) but I think to myself at least I am a long way from the starting point.

So good going for keeping this thread on the front page, everyone :D Helps us to keep thinking about our progress!

Oh I'm glad some of you are finding the spreadsheet useful, let me know if there are any improvements I can make on it, or errors found :)

Do you have a VR headset? If so, maybe we can play a physical sports game or even be sports/fitness partners, hit me up if you keen.

Well done, BB and keep at it. Nothing wrong with the occasional treat; what matters is what works for you and you're clearly sticking with it.

I'm alternating from bingeing and starving, smoking 17 fags smoking 3 fags, its all up and down for me at the moment. HOwever, I'm not b*ying rubbish, once its gone its gone. I'm also doing the gym 3 - 4 times a week so that helps a little bit
