#2 Post by solitude » Thu Sep 06, 2012 11:56 pm

Hi All

I have tickets for sinister but my tickets says the screening is at 6.30pm but on the posting
it says 5.45pm.
Is the screening at 6.30pm as per my tickets or have sff made a mistake and it's 5.45pm.?
Any help would be really apprecated.

Thanks Everyone

Regards

maybe some of the 'twist' bit is happening beforehand? seems to be a bit more than straightforward screening.

it's indeed a special preview screening, I read somewhere they will "plug" some of the spectators to monitor their pulse and such (if someone has a link?) during the film; that would explain the earlier start time, the film however is likely to start at 6.30pm as stated on your SFF ticket

Quote:

At the screening five people will have their heart rate, skin temperature and sweat levels tested throughout the film. These five people will be recruited by Drum and must meet any terms and conditions supplied by Drum.

Night vision filming will take place to capture the audience reaction. Some of this footage will later be included in the TV promotional spots as well as being hosted online.

There will be a producer recording vox-pops after the screening. If a winner or their guest records a vox-pop they may need to sign a disclaimer to authorise use of the vox-pop in future.
Preferred Cinemas :
Richmond, Kingston, West End, Wimbledon, Shepherds Bush, Clapham, Westfield, Fulham

It's going to be similar to last years Shephers's Bush special "Paranormal Activitiy" premiere preview, bar the selected heart/skin/sweat tests then?

People then were being photographed n videoed in prank and critic etc. mode.

My first preview in over a month and it turned out to be this dire Insidious/Paranormal Activity/Amityville Horror hybrid.

Just once, in this day and age, I'd like to see a horror movie which doesn't rely on achieving its scares via loud shrieking noises blended with creepy blink-and-you-miss-it visuals.
