So far this is the worst film I watched this year.
Poor script, poor acting, poor everything. And what is this obsession with loud shrieking noises!?

[quote="Avisute"]We were approached for filmed feedback by a terribly bouncy blond woman - a typical media type. She kept saying "Isn't it the best horror film you have ever seen?!? Sooooooo frightening!"

Needless to say I thoroughly enjoyed the look on her face when we gave her our honest review, especially telling her that we thought the second half was crap and a huge let down which was similar to the ridiculous ending of In

should have gone on screen and given your feed back and get a DVD for saying its rubbish :p
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

After reading the entries it seems I will be the only one saying that it was quiet scary.
I had to cover my eyes for the last 45 minutes and all I could see really was the top end right corner and the bottom left corner and still I was super frightened. Having that much of a vision still what I can say about the film is this… :))
I think it ticked all the horror film elements: loud sound effect at the right time, building up scenes with walking on dark corridors, the main character having an allergy for light switches (obviously). So there was no problem on that front.
I didn’t dislike the story at all. I think it made sense and the acting was also pretty good considering how badly these type of films acted in the past. There were no clichéd lines and the comedy effect worked well.
It might be the build-up (having the night vision goggles set up and monitoring some of the audience) or the big screen but I was actually pretty scared and when I went home I had to quickly watch a comedy to calm down and go to bed.

Saw this in a busy Braehead tonight and thought it was rather scary . . . I would not normally watch this type of film, preferring Disney instead!
However, as it was free, I thought I'd give it a go . . . and I'm not sorry I did.
I had various theories as to what was happening in the film but none were correct  . . . I do think any of my endings would have been better though!
There was a female 2 seats along from me who was petrified from the very start . . . I think it was a ploy from the boyfriend!
One clown decided to switch on his phone at the opposite side of the cinema 8O :nono: but the light was a real distraction!
I would never have pa*d to see this film though having seen it, I would not have been unhappy if I'd pa*d.

I enjoyed this tonight. Not to say it is a masterpiece or anything, but having initially been expecting yet another found footage rehash I was pleasantly surprised. It ticked a lot of boxes for the BOO! factor for those that get a thrill from that, and it had plenty of atmosphere. Yes it was full of holes and yes it was as predictable as this year's weather (rain - for those of you that hadn't noticed). That child Trevor really irritated me - he looked too much like a girl. There was a scene involving a box where I seriously thought he WAS a girl for quite a few minutes!

Overall I'd reccomend to those that enjoy this genre, but nothing that'll bust any blocks.

Full in Cardiff and quite a few gasps and laughs, not where you would expect a laugh though.
I haven't seen paranormal et al so found it probably found it more scary than others in fmuk. The relationship between the husband and wife showed he was a bully who used verbal abuse to get his way. Brought back memorise of a previous life.
Not ashamed to say I had a hand holding moment with OH when it was obvious that a scary part was on its way.

More holes than a string vest.

It started off quite promising and then spiralled into a pile of goo that was neither one thing nor another.

I was bored and kept looking at my watch waiting for it to end!!!

5/10. The first 1/2 was good!
