[BLOG] Sinister
Re: Sinister
Watched it earlier this evening in Southampton. Everyone was silent so made the scary jumpy moments more intense!
Must admit it was better than I thought and was pretty scary throughout. Would definitely recommend it to a horror fan. 7/10
Oh and agree with PeachyLolipop's spoiler!

I think they must have shown a different cut of the film in early September as all those people here who saw it then thought it was rubbish whereas those who have seen it in the last week are giving scores of 6 and above.
Personally, as a horror film aficianado, I thought it was fantastic. A definite 9/10.
Times are good for horror at the moment with this, Cabin in the Woods and Insidious all doing well.

Re: Sinister
First time for everything I guess, we didn't end up seeing Sinister after all. We got in but sat in the wrong screen. Ended up watching a Bruce Willis film called Loopers, which was a load of rubbish. I've often wondered if the cinema crew actually p*y attention to who is seeing what once past the ticket barrier!

What's the point in responding to the feedback survey if you didn't see the film?sharkgirl wrote:... and if anyone can let me know how full the Norwich Odean screeing was for my feedback reply I'd be grateful!

Re: Sinister
My son saw it somewhere else so I will use his opinion and as far as feedback goes I feel I should keep up my end of the deal in seeing a free movie and report back, even if it is about the amount of people in the cinema or the advertising beforehand as I feel any feedback has to be useful, plus my ticket was handed in of course and I have absolutely no idea if SFF ever do a random check or not.howyoudoin wrote:What's the point in responding to the feedback survey if you didn't see the film?sharkgirl wrote:... and if anyone can let me know how full the Norwich Odean screeing was for my feedback reply I'd be grateful!![]()

Re: Sinister
This film is ok not the best scary film I have seen but worth a watch 7/10
Re: Sinister
this film was well directed. The story line was very good. I was really scared that i could not even look at some parts of the film. It made me jump a few times, a must see film.
Re: Sinister
5/10
Distinctly average.
If I had not seen Insidious before, I probably would've thought more of Sinister. Ethan Hawke was good (as always)

That's funny I thought exactly the same reading this thread. I saw it tonight in a packed, though dead silent Shaftesbury avenue and liked it very much.howyoudoin wrote: I think they must have shown a different cut of the film in early September as all those people here who saw it then thought it was rubbish whereas those who have seen it in the last week are giving scores of 6 and above.
A solid 8/10 from me!
