"Bruce Willis returns in his most iconic role as John McClane – the “Real” Hero with the skills and attitude to always be the last man standing. Now McClane faces his greatest challenge ever, this time on an international stage, when he must rescue his estranged son Jack from Moscow and has to face off with a new generation of Russian villains to do so. A Good Day to Die Hard will deliver spectacular entertainment with real action and scale, dramatic special effects and wise-cracking humor that we all love about the Die Hard films."
Yep, a new Die Hard film is being filmed at the moment and is due to be released on 14th February 2013 in UK.
Hoping it's a major improvement on Die Hard 4.0 (aka 'Live Free or Die Hard') which to me wasn't a true 'Die Hard' film. The original trilogy was iconic. For me, a Die Hard film has to have:
-Lots of bloody violence
-Lots of profanity/swearing
-No holds barred - nothing is left to the imagination
-Very little/no CGI (real visual effects are where 'its at'!)
The last movie was a terrible addition, mainly because they toned it down a lot, cut out most of the swearing and made it in to a 'PG-13' action film aimed at teenagers. These movies are for adults, and if it's not rating 18, I'll have very serious doubts already before going in to the film.
Cast (so far) is:
-Bruce Willis (duh!)
-Jai Courtany (playing McClaine's son)
-Patrick Stewart (!)
-Sebastian Koch (playing the villain)
Some good stuff already been filmed, including a very long car chase involved an armored truck and some scenes with an older Russian attack helicopter. It's looking promising, a few amateur videos have McClaine covered in tons of blood.

Director is John Moore who directed 'Behind Enemy Lines' which wasn't a bad film.
