Morning guys..we are all a bit quiet at the moment ..did you know that the last week in January is when most people give in to thier diets and admit defeat only to come out of the gloom in spring ? :tears:

But we are in the first week of February :D new month, new inspiration, grey days but positive people on this site to pull us along :D

Thanks allsinging for your inspiration, I confess I've not been good in January excuses are as follows:
Week 1 No heating, hot water and car hence eating rubbish as too clod to stay in the kitchen
Week 2 Dreadful cold and felt dire! :(
Week 3 As week 2
Week 4 Catching up with all the things I should have done in the first 3 weeks.

February is now here and I've got not excuses as I feel very well, car fixed and have heat and Mr Motivators spreadsheet. Having an admin morning getting my paperwork for private work up to date (hence allowed on the internet - yippee I hope some codes come out while I'm on) and making a vegetable chilli at the same time (very healthy). I'm going to attempt to do the free DVD out of the telegraph tonight (still in the wrapper  ) and I'll let you know how I've got on.

How's everyone else doing?

I have b*ght myself a Cadburys Buttons easter egg as a reward if I reach my target weight by easter!

I must confess I've been a bit lapse since Christmas!! I put on 2 pounds over Christmas, which I've lost now, but I'm struggling to lose anymore!! I seem to have lost my motivation, not sure why, maybe I've had too many nights out, think I just need to get into routine again. I'll start afresh tomorrow

I’ve still been trying to walk 10,000 steps a day using my pedometer, although I’m on my second one, I managed to flush the first one down the loo!! Not sure how I think it fell off my waistband, I didn’t realise until I’d sat back at my desk at work and noticed it missing, I retraced my steps and realised it must have fallen in the loo!!! My colleagues couldn’t contain their laughter!! I find it funny now, but at the time I didn't, it was £25 for a replacement!!

Its been a long time so how's everyone doing?

I finaly bit the bullet and got onthe scales this week. Since Nov 1st, I'd put on 16 lbs. So now I know the damage my binging has done, I'm really making an effort ( to stay away from Poundland) I'm wondering if its my anti depressants and putting on weight is a possible side effect? I'm not even hungry, I'll eat my dinner then scoff 5 KitKats or some such thing. Anyway there's no chocolate in the house now, and only some Weight Watchers biscuits, and some 2 finger KitKats at work for when I need a bit of sugar.

BTW I lost 2 lbs in the first 5 days so that's an ecouragement vx

you're on the right track now valda. keep it up!

i've been awful too recently. no excuses, just laziness and no self-control whatsoever. finding it hard to get started again as well. in that mood where you wonder "what's the point?"

Well done Valda you are heading in the right direction and you are doing it for you not for anyone else, you are not old I've just seen your age on your profile and you are just a few years older than me so we are both in our prime. Anti-depressants can make you put on weight.
jmd1983 the point is you are worth it.
I've been greedy of late, I was over celebrating for my birthday any excuse for a meal out, coffee and cakes and now I've gone from being 8lbs overweight to 12lbs overweight
So girls (and Mr Motivator) lets stick together and get back on track and look out for each other and we will be babes by the summer.
I've tried the free DVD out of the telegraph a couple of times and he really works you out!
