I am working full time this week and not as organised as I would like so have not had much time on here. Went to the cinema straight from work last night.

How do you still keep losing weight Diane? I eat what I think is being sensible and don't lose an ounce. :noo: Good that you are still in control and not putting the weight back on.

Preston has probably cycled too far with his new found friends and has exhausted himself!! ;)

Glad to hear you are out and about ClareBarr and enjoying the sunny weather while it lasts.

Its difficult when you aren't used to working full time to get organised. I'm worse when I'm off work as I don't achieve much more at home than when I'm at work (if that makes sense - I'm a morning person hence tend to ramble at this time of the night).

As for the 1lb I think that it was the running up the escalator that did it  I am trying to maintain now and am nearly there with balancing it as I've just lost that 1lb in the last 3 weeks but does give me a bit of leeway for Christmas.

Preston where are you?

Good morning and where are Preston1990 and havingascreen plus everyone else? Only Biggins has a permission to be absent slip.

Menu of the day:
All bran with a banana (300 calories)
Cup a soup, bagel and a weight watchers yoghurt (380 calories)
Chicken casserole a la jojojoanne with swede, onions, parsnips, carrots and potatoes but forgot to get packet mix so just used a chicken stock cube and herbs. I collected my slow cooker from my mothers after the cinema so could prepare it last night - took less than 30 minutes to prepare and have meals for the next 2 days or may even freeze a portion. (I'm guessing 500 calories).

It will be the DVD tonight and I will also measure my fat with my pressie of MrG as I'm staying in tonight (f irst time in over a week) 8O so have the time.

Be good everyone and looking forward to hearing from you all.

Morning, Diane!!

I'm having the rest of my casserole tonight!! I usually put parsnips in too and sometimes mushrooms because the colour can look too 'beige'!!

Enjoy your day, Ms Inspirational!!!

Well done Diane!!! How about a body fat% update too...you know that's what I am more interested in ;) You are looking wonderful Diane, and I suspect you are already at a healthy weight. So body fat would be you're most meaningful measurement at this point :) You got tape measure and even a calliper now to gauge yourself :)

Oh no I weighed myself on my friend's scales last night, think I've put on 4lbs!! Oh well will have to get back into my slow swimming I think. & my diet has reverted back to how it used to be..need to kick myself back into gear!! Nearly at hospital for occupational therapy appointment...can't wait to get back in my warm flat afterwards!! Did me good staying with my friend last night, her 2 toddlers are both gorgeous & always cheer me up! They're talking now too :)

lol. But please know that I meant only some of us find it a bit stressful, for you and many many others, its an enjoyment and part of the motivation for bodyfat loss so I would never dissuade you and others from calorie counting, I encourage it, just not to the point where it becomes a stress. When I begun my journey, calorie counting was enlightening but a little stressful at first then it became enjoyable, then further down the road became stressful again but by that point, I didnt need to count it, I could judge my portions and sense how much I needed to consume.

It takes a lot more than that to put me off - you should know me by now (you would have to run away with my scales to stop me). Biggins tried to stop me from my addiction to wishing everyone Happy Birthday; I tried to restrain myself but failed but have stopped wishing people who no longer use the site. ;) :giggle:

Lovely to come home to the smell of casserole and it tastes very wholesome. o/

Just measured myself re fat % and I'm pleased to say that over the last 8 weeks I have lost 1% body fat going from 26.6% to 25.4% - I would like to get to 24% if possible :cross: by toning rather than weight loss if that makes sense.
