Re: Weight Watchers
Thanks guys! Do far I have lost 2lbs. It's not much but it's a start. I've had no chocolate for 4 days even though u have craved it terribly, what makes matters worst is the baby isn't sleeping and therefore neither am I and I would usually have a chocolate or2 in the day to "give me a lil pick me up". I will stay strong though as I've just had enough.
Yesterday was a bad day, while out shopping my daughter (20 months) ran down the aisle an u ran to get her! Much to the amusement of a couple of guys who then shouted "did u see her fat rolls wobble" the cracked up and laughed in my face!! I don't want to sound like I'm a moaner but I did feel sooo bad and cried last night. I've never felt so low about my weight before but at least I'm doing something about it. I'm starting my exercise classes next week so hopefully a few more pound will be shifted soon. I'm feeling positive about it and with u guys words of encouragement I'm sure I can do it!
Have a nice day ppl xxx

Re: Weight Watchers
Well done on the 2lbs lost KTfab!!
That is a good start and you didn't give in to the chocolate craving either.
People can be so cruel and it is hard not to be upset but you can lose weight - you already have so don't stop now.
When you have spare time stick the little one in the buggy and go for a long walk to a park somewhere and let him/her have a run around before walking back home again. This gives you both some exercise and fresh air which hopefully will help the little one sleep more at night.
We have all been there with kids not wanting to sleep but when they get older it is trying to get them out of their beds that is the problem!!
Keep posting on here and let us know how you are doing. Good luck with your new classes.

Enjoy the bike ride, Preston and I hope you know that you were missed-- no posts from you for a few days and we are all in a panic on FMUK.
Diane, this is disappointing. I would have thought with all the cake encouragement you got down here in London you might have changed your ways. But here you go again with a no cake day.
We tried. We failed.
Enjoy your bike ride Preston

Let them eat cake and Camembert, Diane!

Secondly what a pair of tossers who for some bizarre reason think that they have the right to insult a total stranger. I also think that some poor person might have chosen one of them to be their "special one" what a catch - at least you don't have to live with them
I know its easier said than done but try not to let them get you down they tend to have these behavioural problems when they have there own inadequances - why else would you insult someone?
You are not a moaner so don't ever think that and I hope that you enjoy your exercise class next week
Post some of your meals on here or whatever exercise that you plan to do even a short walk or just come on here for a chat

Re: Weight Watchers
These two probably don't have a brain cell to share! Of course, you forgot to mention that they were God's gift to women (or men), and had a swarm of beautiful women/men on their arms.... I think not!KTfab wrote:Yesterday was a bad day, while out shopping my daughter (20 months) ran down the aisle an u ran to get her! Please don't feel down. You are taking positive steps and have already lost weight.
What have these two twits (nearly swore there) ever achieved?

I'm getting quite creative with my food, even if I use the same vegetables again and again...
Today:
- bowl of cereals and tea with honey
- salmon with courgettes with olive oil, WW chocolate rich dessert, tea
- mozzarella/lettuce/croutons salad with a red & green pepper/parmesan/prosciutto scrambled egg with a bit of mozzarella
Yummy.

Re: Weight Watchers
I took quite a nasty (well it would be at my weight
) tumble off the bike today when the front wheel slid from under me whilst going round a tightish bend on a wet road.
I landed heavily on my shoulder and thumped my head off the ground. I was really quite shocked and stunned for a while. Fortunately, I was wearing my fairly recently newly purchased bike helmet so there was no great harm done. I managed to continue with the ride and did about 20 odd miles in all today.
However as the day has worn on, my shoulder has become really stiff and sore now and one of my hands seems quite badly bruised and achey, although at the time of the fall I didn't even realise I had banged it.
I rode a bike for years when I was in my teens without one of those helmet things without incident. I nearly didn't bother getting one when I took biking up again in April this year thinking that they looked a bit odd - I am so pleased that I did get one now in hindsight!!
..........And that is why that I have had cake this afternoon - purely to cheer myself up!

Don't worry though it was carrot cake - I'm counting it towards one of my five a day
Well done KTfab on losing those two pounds. That is a really fantastic start and you should be really proud of your achievement.
As others have said, take no notice of those two guys who insulted you! They are just cowardly ill-mannered idiots - unfortunately the world seems full of their kind these days!

Re: Weight Watchers
So sorry to hear about your accident and please get yourself checked out especially with a head injury - for it to bounce off the floor you must have hit it at some force. As for the shoulder injury you will need to get that looked at as depending on what exactly you have done you may need to use cold and/or heat, rest or get exercising it straight away - hence its really important to get someone to look at it as if you choose the wrong self treatment you can make matters worse. I do know I'm going on and you probably want moral support not nagging but its because I care that I'm going on at you.Preston1990 wrote:I took quite a nasty (well it would be at my weight) tumble off the bike today when the front wheel slid from under me whilst going round a tightish bend on a wet road.
