I know I should get some motivation from this thread, but I'm ashamed, cause I'm always saying it's ok to have our weak moments... but it's definitely not ok when it lasts days and days!
I started eating an ice cream cone one day, then another one the day after, then cooked too much food but decided to eat it anyway, and then... vicious circle... I'm now eating too much, too often. I know it's simply comfort food, again and always, but I need to find a NEW comfort diet!
Did some (quick) exercise this morning to feel better. And green tea is my bestie.

This is no good. We can't both be rubbish at the same time. Let's take it in turns instead, then that's a 50% improvement straight away. o/

Come on girls lets all get back on track and motivate each other but in saying that I am having a rest day today purely due to lack of time as going straight to the cinema after work.

Menu of the day:
Sultana bran with a black coffee (300 calories)
Jacket potato with cottage cheese with pineapple and a weight watchers fromage frais (400 calories) I may have some salad with it but depends on time as I'm ashamed to say that I can eat very quickly as only a short lunch today which I know is so bad for you.
Garlic sausage salad sandwich on wholemeal bread and a banana (400 calories)

Have a good day everyone and keep posting.

Rubbish day here today - pouring rain. :noo: not up to much today which makes it more difficult not to eat the wrong things. Cinema tonight when hopefully the rain will have gone off a bit.

Cereal and banana and cup of tea for breakfast. Homemade soup for lunch and haven't decided yet what to have before the cinema.

Be good ladies - and gents!!

Right, I've just been very brave and weighed myself for the first time in a long time. 8O

It could have been a lot worse, but I do have work to do. Now I have a figure to work with, I can set a target. And I can also check whether the diet is helping or not. Eek.

And for you, Diane, I'm going to try to be really good today. I'm also off to a film later, but I'm going to avoid the call of junk food. If I really can't be bothered cooking, I'll just have some Special K or soup. That's a plan.

Hope you all have a great Tuesday!

I'm glad to read I'm not the only one who's been naughty with the junk food recently! I blame all our comfort food on the cold weather.....

Totally agree, the cold weather really isn't helping, but I'm trying to resist getting into Christmas Piggy mode until it's actually Christmas. Would be dangerous to start eating all the bad foods now... A couple of days a year is fine, that's a treat, we all deserve one, a couple of months is an extra stone waiting to happen. Just say no!

Following inspiration from Diane, I've been really good today. I ignored the call of junk food on the way home and I had a bowl of Special K rather than something bad from Just Eat. Am now taking a victory sip - from a mug of hot water. No calories there. o/

I too am trying not to get into the piggy mode (what a good phrase) as I have quite a few Christmas meals planned and yesterday my stomach was rumbling as I have eaten so much when I was away that it was ready for an afternoon coffee and cakes but its going back on the slippery slip if I start that again.

Good luck with the weigh in today Preston o/

Menu of the day:
Porridge (300 calories)
Garlic sausage salad sandwich and 2 satsumas (400 calories)
Steamed chicken breasts and then I quickly fry it in one cal spray to give it the roast chicken effect with carrots, parsnips, red onions and new potatoes followed by a fromage frais. (450 calories)

It will be the exercise DVD today and I will report back later re the weight gain in Denmark and I will go back on my 1200 calories until I'm back to where I was last week - I know that I've done 1200 calories for the last 2 days but that is for damage limitations on weight gain.

Good luck everyone and we are all giving each other moral support on these cold days o/
