Re: Weight Watchers
Thanks for the advise jojoanne but unfortuately it isn't as easy at that as the job involves moving around the building every hour and no where to keep food boxes, flask, etc. I have a place to hang my coat but that is all. If I get time to eat while the canteen is open I can b*y a plate of soup there but usually end up b*ying a sandwich and a coffee from the snack bar in the building. Try to eat lighter at night when I get home.

I admit, I've not been very good lately, but I am now weighing myself and today I even did 20 minutes of exercise. Not a lot and I only burned off two oatcakes' worth - but I hadn't done any exercise in months, so it's progress. Hoping to keep going and start increasing the time I spend.
I also saw a doctor today about some medicine I've been taking that has not agreed with me in the slightest and thus not helped with the willpower (when you're not feeling brilliant, junk food is so appealing) and he's taken me off it. So another positive step.
He said my weight was a little on the high side (brave man for bringing it up!!) but that I'd actually lost weight since last time they'd weighed me. I didn't know that, mainly because I refused to look at the scales last time I was there!

Fine this morning thank goodness as have friends coming this afternoon.
Got good news and bad news yesterday - I have a full week's work next week which means more cash for xmas but the bad news is it will be more sandwiches for lunch!! Not good for my low carbing.
Hope Preston hasn't fallen off his bike again!![]()

I am running round like a mad thing getting ready. I can feel the calories being burned up by the intense running around. I am going to be very restrained tonight and not overdo things. Tomorrow we are going for a long walk at the coast. I shall be having fruit for my breakfast.
Hope everyone else will have a good weekend.

Your adrenaline will be keeping up your metabolic rate - I will have to dance like a mad woman to burn off all the calories I will be eating tonight. We can be 2 mad people together and have a fun weekend.andrews wrote:I am running round like a mad thing getting ready. I can feel the calories being burned up by the intense running around. Re: Weight Watchers
What fabulous pictures and like the Grimm Tales do look very grimm. Getting under 9 stone for me would be almost impossible, I know that we are similar in height but you are obviously a slim build as I'm only just under the 10 stone mark and know that if I attempted to get another stone off it wouldn't be a good look for me (I've no intention of trying).
Feeling really tired today as didn't get to bed until 2.30am as wide awake after my night out (too many diet cokes) and spending 3 hours on the dance floor (now have sore feet as had heels on)
woke up at 6am as usual and then nodded off for another hour so will have to drink lots of water to keep myself energised.
Just had 2 slices of peanut butter on toast which is a shocking 500 calories.
I'm having beef cannelloni with a pasta sauce for dinner (not home made from Asda as an offer on and cheaper this way) and a large salad (another 500 calories)
I will have a 500 calorie or less lunch and something a bit lighter.
I'm rubbish when I'm not up bright and early and without a plan
I too like Andrews have loads of dos to go to - I've now got 5 meals out in 6 days in December and although I'm looking forward to them all I dread to think how I can even pretend to be healthy as I won't have time to exercise after work and before I go out plus only one involves dancing. I'm rambling now as I'm tired.
Have a fun day everyone and lets keep supporting each other

Re: Weight Watchers
Totally agree with Diane, those illustrations are amazing.
Going out for late lunch shortly - no idea where, which makes planning difficult. I always seem to pick the worst thing on the menu calorie/fat wise, despite trying to do the opposite.
However, because lunch was pushed back, I did manage to get another 20 minutes of exercise done. (2nd day in a row, small victory.) My flabby arms ache, so I must be exercising those forgotten muscles, which is my new aim. I might walk everywhere, but I do nothing in my day-to-day life to tone my arms, so I do need to keep up this exercise lark.
Hope everyone's having a good weekend and at least making the best choices out of a bad bunch.

Re: Weight Watchers
Just in from walking round the shops in a small town near the coast. Only got one Xmas present but enjoyed the different shops and the walk.
I b*ght fish for tonight as it was fresh caught there so that was the meal for tonight sorted.
Had a new cereal this morning for breakfast which I quite enjoyed. Jordan's Super Berry Country Crisp which Tesco is selling at the moment for half price -£1.34 for the 500g packet. It has blackcurrants, cranberries and blueberries in it but you have to leave the milk on it a few moments otherwise the fruit is still not soft. Not any lower in carbs etc - but then none of the cereals are very low anyway , even Special K.
Will go for a swim tomorrow morning as will not have time next week with work.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend folks.
