The Hunt
Re: The Hunt
The child at our showing could only be heard and sounded like a toddler or baby. All the way through I thought I was hearing sound from another cinema I was finding the crying a bit creepy until I realised it was from our cinema. Not knowing the rating I was just a bit surprised that an adult would be allowed to bring such a small child in

well, it's a 15; and once again I don't understand and don't agree with the certification.havingascreen wrote:This film shouldn't have been a 12A because of the sex scene and the assault. What were the film censors thinkingscooby wrote:Saw this last night and what a thought provoking, well acted movie, stayed with me all night. Agree that it was a good thing it was not a hollywood movie and much more left to the viewer.
I was at Edinburgh vue, did anyone else hear the child in the audience, just amazed that a young child was there, hardly suitable subject matter

Re: The Hunt
the tickets were wrong then, BBFC has certified it as a 15 http://www.bbfc.co.uk/website/Classifie ... enDocument
(and I personally think 12 should have been enough)

Re: The Hunt
I frickin' love this film. I've seen it twice and it drew two very different emotional responses from me each time. One of my top 10 of the year, for sure.

Re: The Hunt
I saw this last night and really enjoyed it - if enjoyed is the right word! It was quite disturbing but very enthralling. It seemed a bit far-fetched in parts but flowed well. The ending had me intrigued!

Re: The Hunt
This was a wonderful film but did anybody else think that maybe the little girl had been the
victim of sexual abuse? Not by her teacher but possibly her father or brother or his friend?
It was her reaction to seeing the penis that made me wonder. The look on her face when she fell to her knees made me think she had been abused in some way
.

Re: The Hunt
I thought the same for few minutes during the film as I could not believe nothing had happened.
