What was your first preview?
Re: What was your first preview?
Could this be a record... my first preview was The Fourth Protocol with Pierce Brosnan in 1987, with my now late Dad. Free tickets In the Daily Express I think...
Re: What was your first preview?
I think mine was "W" (the George W Bush movie) and having just googled it was back in 2008, although I also saw Frost Nixon as a preview and that was the same year so it may have been a different film altogether. I am pretty sure I had a few previous to this but either gave the tickets away or more likely can't remember them, there was one which sounded very dodgy and I decided not to go, something about virgins or suchlike and I was worried it would be a sex film der! So thank you to everyone who posts codes for entertaining me for the last four years, much appreciated!

I'm not sure what my exact first free preview was but I definitely saw a preview of The Running Man in 1987.ploggit wrote:Could this be a record... my first preview was The Fourth Protocol with Pierce Brosnan in 1987, with my now late Dad. Free tickets In the Daily Express I think...
As I mentioned earlier in the thread I went to a preview of Beetlejuice the following year and the ticket came in the form of a mask http://twitpic.com/4646n3
I miss physical tickets, you only seem to get them for press screenings now.

Re: What was your first preview?
Struggling to remember what the first one was but it must have been around 2006 or 2007 as started going to the free screenings with my then girlfriend (who is now my wife). Remember seeing "A Good Year" in 2006 and Hot Fuzz and Transformers in 2007 at the now demolished Odeon on London Road (in Liverpool).

Been informed by the OH that first film screening we went to was "Thank you for not smoking", which must have been released here early-mid 2006.

Re: What was your first preview?
I went to that on my own. As it was a late screening, I wasted time, went to the gym, went to eat, walked round Trafalgar Square, all the wast time. However, when I got there, I found out it was a FREE BARDoris wrote:Death at a funeral (the remake)
