Was lucky enough to get tickets to see this at Printworks today (thanks akh43). Been such a long time since I have seen a preview, as can't make the mid week ones anymore (except school holidays, when they don't seem to have any on lol), and most of the weekend ones are for Sky movie people (which we no longer have), so normally take the kids to the cheap kids club ones. Anyways, we really enjoyed it. The kids were so excited about seeing it, as they loved the trailer. Loved the 'Paperman' at the start too. A lovely way to spend Sunday morning, and a nice way to end the Christmas holidays with the kids. Score 8/10.

Was lovely to meet Diane65 as well, and get introduced to some FMUK's :)

Went this morning with my whole clan, the OH and my 4 girls, and we all enjoyed it. I thought it was actually well written, ive been a computer / arcade nerd since an early age, so enjoyed recognising all the old arcade characters. made me laugh how simple the old arcade
games used to be.....but still so addictive, and 10p a go...bargain. anyway back to the film enjoyable, colourful, entertaining and a good family film.
8/10

also got to briefly meet "star" - HELLO!!!

Was having a snooze waiting for the film to start when an usher tapped me on the shoulder and offered me some. OH didn't understand how they worked as it was dark and the film was about to start so I gave him the normal ones. I tried the clip-ons but I find them a bit weird and not very stable. Any opinions?
I was given them for Life of Pi in early December. But if your glasses slip, so does your 3D!

I now have adult, child and clip on varieties in my bag at all times.

Yeah, I've cancelled by emailing them too but you can't part cancel as you can with Sky and SFF

Surely it wasn't Ralph that was bad more that his job as Wreck it Ralph was "bad" . I would compare this to a person who has a profession that is unpopular such as a Traffic Warden or Tax Inspector. The people aren't bad but we perceive their jobs as "bad".

Watched this with the family in Blackpool yesterday.
Cinema was only 20% full.
We all thought it was an excellent family movie & would definitely watch it again.
The 3D was pretty pointless though & not worth p*ying extra for.

8.5/10 from all of us :D

Saw this yesterday in Sheffield.

Had some great video-game nostalgia cameos and references and the candy jokes worked well too.

Great animation with a nice visual flair to boot.

I thought some of the characterization's could have been touched upon a bit more and the 3D didn't really add anything.

Apart from that a highly recommended film.

I thought this was quite charming with lots of in jokes for gamers and old skool computer games fans. Ralph is the spitting image of Donkey Kong and a great character though I didn't quite understand "I'm bad and that's good, I'll never be good and that's not bad" as a mantra. Jane Lynch oozes quality and actually I was impressed by all the voices especially King Candy. The children we went with loved it and it managed to hold their attention despite the fairly long running time though they tired of the 3D which I thought didn't add that much. Paperman shown first was quite sweet too.

I really liked it, still in the realm of Toy Story of things they get up to when humans aren't looking. I've never played on an xbox or playstation or anything and the only game I ever had as a child was a pacman and my sister had a Qbert bin which I coveted even though I'd never played it. :shifty:

I got so hungry when they were in Sugarland that if ther ehad been a sweet stand out in the corridor I would have dashed out and b*ght something. :red:

We had some 3D trailers beforehand Justin and the Knights of Valour due out in the summer which looked a bit meh, Monsters Inc, and The Croods which looked really good.
Something strange happened during The Croods, a little girl ran close to the front of the screen running to get to her seat and as she did she appeared to run through the foreground rocks onscreen. So the 3D for that film was definitely working, I suppose if she'd stood still in front of it my eyes/brain would have had time to make sense of it but because she ran it really did look like she'd ran through the picture.
