I can confirm this. I can also confirm that Clive was there, as I saw him. Raj was only half there .

Ah, must have been a more mature crowd - as when they told the 30s and under to sing part of Hey Jude I think I was the lone voice in the audience

No there were a couple of deluded souls from my group singing as well. I think they have been 21 for quite a few years!

As a matter of interest, didn't you notice that you were the only one who actually walked out? Or did others do the same?

Usually the cast do a curtain call at the end of a stage production lol

Well the theatre was pretty full for the second half, I didn't notice any gaps. There was a mass exodus at the interval but that was for the bar and toilets. Perhaps Raj joined some smokers and kept on going?

To be fair one person in my party asked whether it was the end or an interval. As there is no real story it is imposssible to tell that way but it would have been a bit of an abrupt ending in terms of the lack of curtain calls as they were obviously at the end. Also the lack of certain songs (such as Let It Be) was a giveaway; although we did spend the journey home coming up with all the ones we could think of that were actually left out.

This is why I addressed my questions to Raj. I can understand the mass exodus to the bars and toilets etc and smokers needing their fix but most smokers hang around the entrances.

Also why I mentioned the curtain calls as they are normally at the end.

There is always one or two songs that are missed out of shows and concerts, so that is never a good indicator.
Oh well, you live and learn as they say.

Actually, I thought it was over before it really was, but OH said they finish with Hey Jude (we'd seen before), so we stayed.

How disappointing for her and it was such a great show too! Perhaps she could attend today's Siro-A show at Leicester Square Theatre and still have a good time
