So looking forward to seeing this film. Hope its as good as Knocked Up... I always fear the sequel won't live up to expectations, so I hope I'm wrong!!

I saw the trailer for this today and was very surprised. It looks far promising that I presumed it would be.
Fingers crossed for a decent comedy. :cross:

I really enjoyed this. It's more mature than Knocked Up and I get to see Paul Rudd is in his underpants. Humina, humina.

Knocked Up was too long and This is 40 looks to be the same. Production team needs to stop being so stubborn and cut some material. It is not all comedy gold!

Saw this tonight at an almost full Cineworld,Edinburgh. The guy in front of me seemed to find it hilarious and was laughing loudly all the time. I didn't think it was that funny and it was far too long. Not as good as I expected. 5/10 for me.

I was disappointed and Paul Rudd in saggy white y-fronts was not endearing or otherwise......

Have to agree that the film was too long. 2 hours and nearly 15 minutes. 30 minutes needed cut.

There were a lot of characters and that made it difficult to keep track sometimes - I'm thinking friends/employees here.

The premise was good and it had promise, I just think it was poorly edited so the laughs got lost in the angst.

Not as funny as they think it is, and biggest waste of Chris O'Dowd.

Do stay for the Melissa McCarthy outtakes at the end though.

6.5/10 from me.

This is 40.....This is too long! There was a few LOL moments, something wasn't right though it just didn't click like it should have! The out-take was so funny 6/10

Went to see this movie on Tuesday night and have to say it was too long. Most definitely will appeal to those who are already or are approaching 40 with kids but not worthy of 2+ hours. There were a few younger people coming out of the cinema at the same time as us and they were complaining about it "just being a ramble". A few laugh out loud moments and moments where my husband and I just looked at each other knowingly. All in all its a 6 out of 10 for me.
