Wow, I have never seen glossy premiere tickets that huge - they are massive. Strange because everything else about this premiere seemed distinctly low-key. We were put in the much smaller but infinitely lovelier screen 1 where a lot of corner seats were occupied by FMUKers - I saw valda, martadelas and cliveas in the left corner downstairs, PXC at the other end, ejwrank, David and pcrock a bit higher up, and OH and I were in the upper left corner which was great after I found out that I can actually leave the row by climbing up one step and walking high up behind the back row. I did that everytime I spied another FMUKer so without that escape route our neighbours would have been heartily sick of me after a while! We got "popchips" and water bottles on our seats (the barbeque version packed a great punch) but I never managed to get a good shot of Richard Gere as he was too far down. We had passed him on the red carpet earlier but I only managed a very blurred picture. By 7.15pm it had filled up, but for some reason we had 4 empty seats in front of us so managed to snaffle another popchip packet. Couldn't get any more as the woman in front of me suddenly leaped up and grabbed the others, LOL.

The film was quite interesting and I really like Richard Gere but it lacked the tension I was hoping for so I am afraid I started yawning a lot. I was always waiting for something really bad to happen but the film just ended quite suddenly which I thought was a bit rubbish. I wanted to see a man in total meltdown but I guess if you're that rich you always get away with it somehow. I guess that's what they tried to show?

7.5/10 because we had a great time and the seats were lovely and I was snuggled up to OH the whole time to get the right angle for the screen and OH loved the movie.

On the way out we managed to grab a few more popchips and when I proudly told cliveas that we had nicked a few more crisps, he just shook his head and said "Why am I not surprised?" I don't know what he means... :shifty:

LOL about the woman who grabbed the rest of the popchips, I think she may have been on our row... We suddenly noticed all the popchips beside us get grabbed :bwl:

I agree about waiting for something bad to happen, you always had that feeling, yet nothing bad ever really did happen.. I almost thought his wife might ruin it for him at the end, but then it just suddenly ended, very disappointing way to end it!

I was quite surprised at the amount of empty seats around us...

The title was a bit misleading...

As for the premiere, I rather enjoyed it. It was my first premiere, believe it or not. :D Nice to see so many FMUKers.
I enjoyed the film (very good performance by R. Gere) but the ending was too abrupt for my liking. 7/10
