Re: BAFTA Tour screenings

Cineworld have sent me a customer satisfaction survey with regards to watching Brave on Friday but it's only a tick boxes survey, they don't even have a comments field where I could bollock them for printing the wrong screen number on my tickets!

Ushers only look at screen numbers, so when I went for Argo last night I was told that I was at the wrong screen and had to explain - they don't even know what's playing where so she had to go and ask before she was satisfied that I was allowed to wait in front of screen 7! I'll have the same spiel on Wednesday again. At least I didn't lose my phone again but OH managed to kick over my bag in the closing minute and ALL my Revels spilled on the floor.

Cineworld staff have screen lists where they can quite easily check and tell you the number of the screen the film is showing in. It's easy enough to ask them to double check as they look at your ticket.

And if you are so annoyed at the previous mistake, why don't you post on their Facebook or send them a tweet so they can apologise to you.

I asked her "Don't you have a list you can check on" and she said "No, I'll have to ask the manager". Useless.

Can you believe it? Edinburgh Cineworld start the film tonight 15 minutes early for the third time in a row, then promptlt stop it dead and restart for the benefit of latecomers (who are actually on time at 6.30pm), then as if that wasn't irritating enough continue to allow people to wander in right up until 7pm! Absolutely ridiculous!

I can understand this happpening once, but on three successive nights? I can also understand the latecomers who may be unfamiliar with the no ads/no trailers concept of previews, but more than half of the audience arriving after 6.30 is just plain stupid!

So that you can be shown the first 15mins twice in rapid succession! One ballsup I can accept, but three times on three successive nights? I ask you. I shall be letting them know exactly what I think of that in their silly survey.

I don't know that they give you anywhere to post this on the survey. A Tweet would possibly get a better reaction!

Cineworld are sending out emails with a survey attached to allow you to comment on the film/Cineworld. So far I have had one for Brave and Argo.
