Watching 'The Simpsons', still my favorite cartoon
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
    "I'm a little hoarse."

Just got back from the times+ thingy at the M/c Art Museum. I had a choice between this and Sugarman, for me I made the right choice. We were greeted with a free bag for life with a pen and notebook inside plus a free drink or two (make mine a JD and coke) what a civilised way to conduct an event. Then on to the exhibition. The artist is called Raqib Shaw. I have seen his work reproduced in booklets but not really taken much notice, but seeing it for real was totally different. He uses glitter and rhinestones in his pictures which the booklets could just not do justice. His paintings were fantastical with metamorphic creatures. Although he uses bright colours, when you look closer there is a hidden dark side to them. Finished of with another JD (db) for the road home.
In all a thouroughly enjoyable evening.

So pleased you enjoyed it and now wish that I had gone even though I did enjoy Sugarman.
