Have you tried typing in a different age? I typed in 18 instead of 48 in error and shockingly to lose 2lbs in 2 weeks if I was 30 years younger I would be allowed an extra 200 calories a day 8O I know that your metabolic rate slows down with age but I didn't realise it was that much :noo: I have played with lots of different weights and its an age issue as it seems to be constant that you allowed an extra 200 calories if you're 30 years younger

I did notice the age I had in my fitness pal was 10 years younger but it was still giving me 1200. Bizarre, going to try 1000 for 6 days and see how I go. My metabolism seems to have started working a bit quicker so I'll just make sure I exercise to get those extra calories per day as an added incentive to get moving :) I cleaned and re-arranged my daughters room, did 3 loads of washing and changed all the beds plus a quick bus trip with the wee chap so no exercise as such today but I was active.

I've gone back to using the old WW points system as both me and mom have been attempting the propoints thing.
We've both put on weight in the past month, so sod it! :P

Its whatever works for you. I like my calorie counting, walking and Tracey Anderson DVD it works for me and as most of you know I like weighing and counting.

Menu of the day:
Smoothie with Hazelnut milk (another bargain 22p courtesy of akh43 good deals), bananas and strawberries (200 calories a heck of a lot less than cows milk (not sure re the difference in calcium but its delicious))
German sausage, salad sandwich thin (200 calories) Tesco mango yoghurt (65 calories)
Pumpkin curry (out of the freezer)- I made at halloween so needs to be eaten up. (400 calories)

I will add a few more calories throughout the day.

I was going to do an exercise DVD as not at work until 10am but I've just phoned a joiner and he can do my curtain poles, tracks tomorrow so needed to move a bed from one room (those slats were made to stay but brute force I've got them out) and a desk in another so he can access it so it is physical labour and just done it. I'm going to work Friday evening so that what I earn will be what he charges to do these jobs so win win situation - I'm better at doing feet and he's better at joinery (or however you say it) and the jobs are done. It would probably take me 2 days to do it plus as one of the poles cost a fortune from Laura Ashley so if I cut it wrong I would be gutted.

Have a happy day everyone o/

After struggling to walk up the stairs to uni, I've come to the conclusion its probably unwise for me to go to the gym once my lecture is over.

Dam meds.

Just read this about whether 3,500 calories equal a pound of fat? Found it really fascinating and helpful.

I know I feel so dissapointed -.- all I do is tiffanys workouts, I usually keep my weight when I do her videos, the only thing that has changed is that I started taking iron tablets (ferrous sulphate) but I don't know why will those tablets will make me gain weight so fast argh! So annoyed!
