but today's a new day! had a homemade fat free yoghurt with linseed, orange and mango mix this morning for breakfast, had a salad with smoked mackerel (not the lowest in calories i know, but very good for you) for lunch. and have brought in some special k chocolate snacks for the afternoon slump. not too bad i think?

Re: Weight Watchers
haha reading back it does look like i actually made the yoghurt myself...but i didn't. i just b*y it in the supermarket! haha. but i b*y plain yoghurt and then put fresh fruit in and/or nuts and seeds and whiz it in the blender for a yummy, creamy, healthy and filling breakfast! :-)

Re: Weight Watchers
My mum b*ght me a yoghurt maker which is really easy to use. Sadly I'm never at home (and conscious) for 5 hours at a time, so never make it (you have to take it out of the thing 5-7 hours after making it, else it goes sour I think). Mum has made it for me at my house (she's a very lovely lady!) and it's tasty - and I'm told healthier.

Re: Weight Watchers
I tried a Body Pump class last night for the first (and last) time, I'm so stiff today. I thought the class was going to be like aerobics, so when we had to get the bars and weights out I was a bit surprised!! The instructor was really good and explained everything to us, but it was just a nightmare, I have no co-ordination and just ended up getting very frustrated!! I can see why it would help you lose weight and tone up, but its just not my cup of tea. I'm trying Pilates tonight and Spinning tomorrow, so hopefully I'll enjoy them more

Re: Weight Watchers
ah keep with the Body pump, it does get easier. I couldn't work out how to change the weights quick enough, but once you get the hang of it its fun.AnneJ wrote:I tried a Body Pump class last night for the first (and last) time, I'm so stiff today. As for Spin or RPM, I would be near enough crying after 5 mins! I hate it with a vengeance. For me, its Body Combat, and Body Pump with a bit of Body Balance if I can get out the house in time on a Saturday.vx

Re: Weight Watchers
Hi Everyone how is everybody doing? Just started hill walking again and feel far better for it (and tired).
Has anyone one heard from TheycallmeMrGlass, he seems to have disappeared just concerned that he is OK as he was a really active member of this site and he's not posted for ages.

Re: Weight Watchers
I started the week well, then went to a screening of Alice in wonderland at my mates company. All fine and dandy but unfortunnately there's a lovely bar on the ground floor and I ended up drinking! First alcohol in monthss, 3 drinks and I'm drunk
I did avoid the chippy though. Congrats on starting the hill walking Diane, that's really good exercise for the legs.
I did manage a body combat today, still feeling the effects of the booze hehe
