Yes, do enjoy your Cologne holiday, Diane. Eat lots of lovely food -- I mean it would be rude not to!

I certainly didn't worry about food my goodness where do I start?biggins wrote:Have a lovely time Diane and don't worry about food and exercise - you are only away for a short time so enjoy!! Hope your nail varnished fingers and toes have a lovely time too.
On the plus side I did walk around all the time we were there from dawn until dusk and apart from the evenings when we had snacks in the rooms my toe nails never saw the light of day

We found the most divine restaurant around the corner from the hotel where last night I have never had so much food on my plate ever (it looked like a serving plate
) chicken with creamy mushroom sauce, broccoli, cauliflower and chips followed by ice cream and hot cherries. Had cakes in the chocolate factory (I've got my custom made bar of chocolate for Easter). I also managed to have an Americaner cake, another cake in Bruhl plus a meal out with sauages, sauerkraut and fried potatoes. I have no idea how but we did go out for lunches as well and have snacks when we got back in - it doesn't add up that I have eaten all this in 3 days but I certainly did

Glad you had a good time Diane. Your painted toe nails still won't see the light of day here either!!
