Re: Olympus has Fallen
Myself and my hubby watched this at a very packed Cineworld in Aberdeen last night. Would have to say we both thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend it. A bit of a cross between Bourne and Die Hard movies I thought with a rather large helping of Gerard Butler which just can't be wrong (my hubby wouldn't agree on that part!). 9.5/10

Thought this film was ridiculous, but funny. Loved the line: ''Let's play a game of go **** yourself. You go first.''
Sorry you guys are having difficulty with your free screenings being overbooked. You should come to the Brighton Odeon ones - always seems to be seats available!

Great movie and one to watch. Cheesy "God bless America" and over emphases on "president of the united states of america" are starting to grind a bit though. Someone should tell them that this is shown around the world. performances but well known actors added to the suspense throughout and great action sequences.

I'm with the majority here. Over the top patriotism, especially the "I pledge my allegiance" turn from Ruth but despite this I thoroughly enjoyed it. Happily sat there entertained by Banning's little remarks and crazy action scenes. 8/10

Re: Olympus has Fallen
Was totally amazed at how popular the preview was, I go to quite a few and this was queued up like I've never seen before. Thankfully it was a massive cinema. Rather predictable but still enjoyable though we came home to see the news about the attacks at the marathon which was rather upsetting and does make you wonder if the film might not be a bit more realistic than we might like it to be.
Re: Olympus has Fallen
Every seat was taken when I went to see this film at the Vue in Swansea, people still arriving at half past 6 expecting to get a seat...
Apart from the person behind me kicking my chair at regular intervals, I enjoyed this film. Very gripping plot. The only bad thing I will say is that it could have been 20 minutes shorter. I'd recommend this film!

Went to the Vue preview as Shepherds Bush on Monday, give this a 7 out 10, just why people turn up late when the offer says 6 for 6.30pm is a mystery, 15 minutes in and couples were still coming in!

Got tickets through seefilmsfirst. I'm not really into action/terrorist-esque films but this was a great film to watch in cinema. Highly recommend.
