My win that I'm bringing is wrapped up already in case the lucky dip happens!canadian_turtle wrote:I'm bringing loads of books (World Book Night this year and last year as well as some randoms), Wreck it Ralph merchandise, a signed script, spare glossy premiere tix and DVDs. Either for swap or for lucky dip, whatever happens on the day :)akh43 wrote:What sort of things are people bringing for the swap/lucky dip, I have a win, which the Manchester people proabably know what it is, for the lucky dip. I don's have any cinema vouchers to swap, what other things are people bringing to swap? I dont want to bring stuff down from Manchester and then no one is interested in what I bring.

I suspect some may get eaten along the way as I love chocolate, hence why I am bringing it as its too much temptation in the house - I love it too muchcanadian_turtle wrote:Or if you end up carrying too much you can eat it on the way to London

Now into my bossy roll - I want all you travellers to have a good early night as its an early start and we want to arrive bright and fresh. akh43 and steve, myself and Betty Botter will be picking you up at 6.15am so 10pm is bedtime!! Strawberry and white chocolate muffins, cereal bars, journey sweets and cereal bars all packed for breakfast on the train. Tickets, art passes and travelling purse (I have an everyday one, a going out one and a travelling one) in my handbag plus Iron Man glasses for Rainey and my London Map so that I know where I'm going. Steve sorry to be a spoil sport but you are not sitting in my car in your crotchless leotard so you will to get changed at the station.

Just reading from the first page to refresh my memory on venue details etc....Beate your comment made me laugh! That sounds like my kinda day! I'll be joining you all for the 12-3 meet up (providing I feel ok when I wake up tomorrow) but I think the journey to London alone will be enough to tire me out, let alone museums etc x

Have just packed my second bag (the one filled with books etc) and it's massive and very, very heavy. Will be a challenge to travel with it...canadian_turtle wrote:I'm bringing loads of books (World Book Night this year and last year as well as some randoms), Wreck it Ralph merchandise, a signed script, spare glossy premiere tix and DVDs. To all those travelling to FMUKCON, I wish you all a very pleasant day.
I really do wish I had made some effort and planned to come to London for the weekend as I'm sure someone would have looked after me
I am quite
jealous of you all getting a chance to meet up and put faces to names.
Have a great day out, FMUKers! Leave London as you find it . . . .

Is 12 the earliest we can meet up at the venue? 3 hours don't seem to be enough for all the introducing, chatting, eating, drinking, swapping and lucky dipping!
