I thought that the 3D was the best I've seen in ages, the story was great and the characters thoroughly entertaining. Kept your attention throughout and was very easy to watch.
Colour, animation and voices were all fab.
One that I'd definitely recommend.

My sentiments exactly! Perfect way to spend a rainy Sunday morning!

What a treat, the trailer didn't do much to impress me but the actual film was really enjoyable. Glad I bothered to see it.

looks good, am trying to decide if its worth taking my 2 and a half year old to see it. I took him to Wreck it Ralph and he did well with it.

Anyone with any insight?

I thought this was a bit boring, and rather slow. I am afraid I was disappointed as was OH who usually loves all kids films. Many loo trips for kids so i guess they were a tad bored too.

you are right, its a middling film for what is offers. Its not terrible, and its sometimes good, but its also sometimes substantially lacking vital elements. I am not sure the plot actually had a direction at all tbh, and the script was minimally attended too for long stretches. I don't understand for the life of me why you'd work so arduously on the animation just to fail on these more important ingredients. Nevertheless the 3d is great, it will engage small kids for most of the movie and you get to hear Emma Stone putting her trademark grunts to good use. Its certainly not a waste, theres fun to be had.

Shame though, its such a great idea, could have been really, really good. Just another Cloudy Meatball movie.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?
