Re: Freebies
Curzon Cinemas have done it again: members receive a free DVD every year but with no choice in the matter (not even whether they receive it, though I have suggested an opt-out) and for the 3rd year in succession, they have sent me something in which I haven't the least interest.
So, before I am so rude about it that no-one will want to take up my offer, should anyone care for my free, "2 Disc Collector's Edition" of the Pascale Ferran version of "Lady Chatterley", would s/he care to PM me? Regular posters preferred and a postal address will obviously be required. I can stick it in a jiffy bag and post it, but that won't be today as I shall be out for the duration.

I am a real fan of dim sum, so this is a real good deal for dimsum fans out there:
http://www.pingpongdimsum.com/loyalty-card
It's a ping pong loyalty card with £10 credit, but from their site it looks like it's only valid for 3 restaurants in the city area of central london.

Re: Freebies
From MSE:
Free energy saving plug with £1 paper
Newspaper-based offer
Get The News of the World (£1) on Sunday 14 March and you’ll find a coupon for a free desktop PC PowerDown energy-saving plug (RRP £16), or grab the paper on Sunday 21 March to get a coupon for a free ShowerSave water-saving device.
To get your freebie, fill in the coupon and bring it to one of the 515 participating Sainsbury’s stores; each coupon is only valid on the day it’s printed, for the specified item only.
The ShowerSave regulates shower water flow and temperature, whilst the PC PowerDown plug automatically switches off equipment connected to the computer when it’s shut down, eg. printers and scanners.
Prices vary, but you can find similar energy-saving plugs for around £10, so this is a good offer. The offer isn’t valid in NI or ROI, and is subject to availability while stocks last. For participating stores, see full details.

Fresh air in jars from the National Trust (LOL):
http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w- ... d=V0310BT6
Fresh air giveaway
With the study revealing that contact with the natural elements can help significantly reduce stress, the National Trust has also come up with the ultimate solution for the office-bound – National Trust fresh air is being offered to stressed-out city workers in London. The fresh air has been captured from rural and coastal locations across the country – including the lake-side scent of Townend on the shores of Lake Windermere in Cumbria, the grass filled blend at Stourhead, Wiltshire and the woodland aroma of Box Hill, Surrey.
The National Trust fresh air has been collected in recycled glass jars and will give office workers a fragrance for the natural outdoors – thought to relieve stress for up to ten minutes with each 454 gram jar containing 0.42 grams of fresh air.
One hundred desk-bound office workers across the UK can also get their hands – or noses – on the fresh air by requesting their own air-filled jar @ press.office@nationaltrust.org.uk
I don't know about you but I asked for one!
