Saw this in Glasgow Cineworld. Wasn't the best wedding film in the world but it isn't the worst either. It was average. Big stars and OH still doesn't know who Ben Barnes is. Think it was cos he was so tanned. The script was good yet there was something lacking. The jokes were there but it could have been funnier. Did anyone thought for a split second when Susan Sarandon got into her wee red car it was a wee Thelma and Louise moment. Though the two females beside us were laughing hilariously at every joke. 5/10

Preference of cinemas:- 1. Glasgow Renfield Street Cineworld, 2. Glasgow Showcase, 3. Braehead Odeon, 4. Vue Fort, 5 Glasgow Springfield Quay, 5. any other cinema in Glasgow area including Hamilton
Also Falkirk, Dunfermline and Stirling but these are rarely used for free previews.

Finally got to a screening of this, I'm not sure what I made of it really. It certainly is a damn good bit of cinematic anaesthesia.

Although I think totally sedating an audience isn't exactly a good thing, no matter how well you do it.

I enjoyed this film.

I think people saw all the big names in the cast and therefore expected it to be a blockbuster.

Basically it is a bunch of really famous people, cast as family members, having a go at a comedy. Sometimes they made the audience laugh and sometimes it was vulgar.

Overall, they pulled it off better than some comedic actors have done in previous films.

But all the heavyweight actors (particularly Robert De Niro) have been primarily doing comedy films for over a decade now. I wouldn't exactly say they're "having a go" when it's pretty much all they do these days.

I disliked this film for so many reasons. Avoid if you want your memories of some of these once respectable actors untainted.
Oh, and the language was so unnecessary.

Having read everyone's comments, I'm somewhat less heart broken that I wasn't able to go.

You get to live a long happy life. I am currently trying to forget what Susan, Robert and Diane did.

I see your point...but it's hardly make or break for them...so they just do enough to stop it from being an absolute stinker because the mere fact that it has so many big names in it is enough to get bums on seats as far as they are concerned.

"Could do better. 6/10" .

Just saw this at the Telegraph screening at The Courthouse Hotel. It was absolutely packed by 6.05pm and they had to bring more chairs in!

Didn't know what to expect, as not read any reviews. But I so enjoyed this, a grown up dysfunctional family comedy. An excellent film, it is funny, whimsical, romantic, touching, silly and well cast, with great rapport between the cast. I laughed a lot. My friends really enjoyed it too. 10/10
