Free music / performance events across the country
What is Our Big Gig?
Our Big Gig is a community music celebration which takes place across the UK from the 11th to the 14th July 2013.
This annual event aims to bring communities together to celebrate their local musical talents and get more people involved in music making.
All Our Big Gig events are organised by local volunteers on the ground in their communities with support from Superact’s Regional Managers.
All events will be at least four hours long, FREE to attend and open to all, providing attendees with opportunities to participate in a range of musical activities.

TUESDAY 9TH – THURSDAY 25TH JULY
We’re excited to have City of London Festival returning to New Street Square this year! Join us this month for a selection of free performances, starting on Tuesday 9th July, 12.30pm – 2pm, with the Guinness World Record circus performers, Hoop La La.
We then follow with fantastic performances from Mimbre ‘Falling Up’, an all female performance of acrobatics, dance and humour, vintage jazz band The Shirt Tail Stompers and electro-pop and nouveau folk fusion from Irish dance duo, Up & Over It.
