The new Stath or Jason Statham film. It's a bit different from his usual stuff.

Re: Hummingbird
Thank you tsoiboy for taking me to the premiere tonight. Another chance to see Jason in the flesh!

Walked the red carpet with Chelsea Healey (Waterloo Road) looking very glam in a white dress with a very large side split, and Lucy Watson (Made in Chelsea) also in a white dress.
A very interesting film, surprisingly different - it has got heart and character! Not what I was expecting. Statham actually does some acting, and the leading lady, is well cast and acted. Lots of very recognisable Soho, dark and gritty. 8/10

Re: Hummingbird
Well this was the 2nd Premier I have been to. To be honest I'm not a big fan of the red carpet and not really star struck or into celebrities. I would rather be in the shadows than in the limelight myself.
Lovely to have PXC as my plus one and even better to see the Stath on stage and introduce the film. I think he was quite happy with the film and for him to do something a little different to his usual movies.
I'm still really undecided about this film. I did enjoy it and it was well played out and acted but in the back of my mind I kept on thinking that this was a Jason Statham film and it is going to turn into one huge kick ass action film. This it is not. It is a movie about redemption and just so happens to star Jason Statham.
If you keep this in mind then you are going to enjoy the film. If you don't then you will leave the screening a little cheated and disappointed.

Re: Hummingbird
Just finished watching this and thought it was a good film overall. Good to see JS diversifying. Good story and good acting although I preferred Eastern Promises to this. 7.5/10.
