The Internship
Re: The Internship
ontheline, online, ontheline, online, ontheline, online.......
Saying the same "joke" 40 times in succession does not lead it to being funny, guys! That sequence was just plain tedious.
Not that this is a criticism per se, but note there was no sweary words and no actual violence. Any violent acts, were such as the fat kid kicking someone in the nads, were implied rather than shown. Certainly the addition of such factors would not have made this any better, but perhaps less bland.
I wonder how much Google contributed financially, and I wonder how much editorial clout they had as a result.
Hmmmm. Biased? Did I say that out loud?

Saw in West India Quay last night, the cinema was completely full. I really liked it actually, you have to not hate Google to enjoy it I guess, quite funny and cool factor :)

Saw this film at Cheshire Oaks. I went in with no expectations and because of that, i really enjoyed the film. It had a real feel good factor to it and a few laugh of loud moments.

Saw this film last night at Birmingham cineworld. It was to cliched and boring, I was expecting a lot more. A big let down from Wilson and Vaughan.

A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

Re: The Internship
The British guy was Max Minghella, I believe he is the grandson of Anthony Minghella.
Regarding Basingstoke, if you e-mail SFF about it they'll probably send you cinema vouchers!

Re: The Internship
Saw this last night in Edinburgh, quite busy despite there having been quite afew other screenings. hubby thought it was quite good
He has not been that keen on quite a lot of the movies we have been to see.
I like Vince Vaughn but like Stuartboy think Owen Wilson is so wooden and always unbelievable. I usually start thinking someone else would have done a better job. Shame John Travolta is getting on a bit, think he, when he was younger would have added so much more to the film rather than Owen.
Liked the feel good factor and think Mum would have liked it as no violence and no real swearing. Better than the usual chick flick so 6/10 from us

Hope you don't mind me stating that he's the son, not the grandson, of Anthony Minghella.

Re: The Internship
Saw this at a half-full Greenwich Odeon yesterday. This wasn't inventive or original in any way, but while I can't say i enjoyed Vaughn and Wilson's mugging, the supporting cast provided quite a few laughs (especially the Asian kid). So, fairly fun but very formulaic. 6/10

Re: The Internship
Saw this in Portsmouth and yes it was predictable BUT it was also better than most of the same ilk. Well worth seeing at some point
