Oooooooooooooooohhhh, I'm looking forward to this one too! Let's hope there are central locations with tickets left! Or is this a regular 'screen' screening, not a culture+ screen? The link posted in the free films thread didn't work for me so can't tell.
Preferred cinemas: All Central London: APOLLO Piccadilly, EMPIRE Leicester Sq; ODEONS: Leicester Sq/Covent Garden/West End/Whiteleys/Panton St; VUE: West End/Fulham/Islington, CINEWORLD: Haymarket/Shaftesbury Ave; Brixton Ritzy,
Then: Westfield, o2, Clapham

Interestingly new idea .. makes sense as people who get tix later in the week can still go then will just have to go the shops on the morning of the screening

you will need an original copy of the advert in Culture Magazine from Sunday July 5th or the front cover of the following Sunday's Culture magazine.

I am soooo excited about this film! Will have to be on high alert to make sure I don't miss out on these. The Times are normally quite reliable when it comes to London dates so here is hoping!

When I clicked on the link, it was still showing "Public Enemies", so are we assuming the cinemas will be the same next time? If so, I hope there will be other, non-Times previews as it doesn't make economic sense for me to p*y to travel to a Times location. And I've actually just booked for a screening + Q & A with the director at Curzon Mayfair, but that's not until July 31, so I'm sure the suspense would be killing me if others had seen it so much sooner!

I presume you are talking about the link miss precious gave in this thread rather than the one I gave in free films. Mine is a direct link to the booking page whilst miss precious's link is a direct link to the public enemies page.

There tend to be 2 different lists of cinemas for times screenings. Its usually, but not always, picturehouses for sunday mornings and vues for weekdays.

Yes, Steve, I think that's what I did. But either way I'll be out of luck as far Times screenings are concerned, as there are no Picture House or Vue sites near me. However, that doesn't rule out other screenings, does it, i.e SFF or TT, and there's plenty of time yet.
