I'm pretty sure Sweden is incredibly expensive, maybe not to stay, but to b*y things like food. I've always heard bad things about Scandinavia in that regard. I think Croatia would be the cheapest. I've seen pictures of my photographer friend's holiday in Dubrovnik and it looks lovely!
Last year I went to Denmark and Sweden (here only for half a day) and it is very affordable, went for coffee and cakes in Sweden and it was £7 for 2 of us. Public transport is also a lot cheaper than the UK plus if it's because similar to
Denmark eating out is the same as home. I don't drink alcohol so that might be where it's expensive. Croatia is just stunning but it was 30 years ago when I went. Have a fabulous holiday.

We have had a full week of activities. I think I could become a tour guide for Durham in my next life!

That waterfall looks magnificent

How about being a tour guide in this life - I have been on one of your City Centre tours and you were very informative plus good company

I fully intend to stuff myself with Harry Ramsdens famous fish and chips! I've plotted near to the sea at the moment and it's just bliss lying here listening to the sounds of the waves, but later will move up a bit and eat fish and chips and watch the sunset, can't wait for that! Your very lucky to have this as your front garden Eumenides!
