Saw this tonight, utterly bored throughout. Tedious story, bad world-building, ugly to look at, and my god what horrible ADRing for Jodie Foster.

So wanted to see this movie. Went to see it this avo, and pa*d - well, payment in the way of free e-vouchers and other manipulations to get tix for as little as possible ;).

I did like the movie, don't get me wrong, but unfortunately there is a bit of a tale of two halves. The first half starts off well, and it's as if the second half forgets plot features of the first half (one in particular, which I was completely miffed with), and it seemed as though they ran out of time at the end and just wanted to wrap up the movie with some Hollywood appropriate ending. Shame really, but still decent enough to enjoy. I could imagine others just not liking it due to the 'hiccups'.

Such a massive plot hole I can't even talk about right now.

Thanks everyone, I had planned to see this tomorrow afternoon with my Sky tickets, but think I will now wait for the DVD.

I'm struggling to find much positive response to it at all. Shame as it looked very promising. :crying:

I enjoyed it, but then I just like these things for worlds that are created (much like I did with Oblivion) wish they have explained more about Elysium at the start about it's gravity and abilty to have an atmosphere open to space like a planet.

If you like sci fi stuff yogi it's well worth a go, worth seeing space type things ona big screen. Plus these sky codes need using up and there's very few decent things being released over the next month.

As a Sci Fi film I enjoyed this holes and all and really liked Copley as the villain.
