Seasons 1 & 2 of Misfits were great, Season 3 was OK but it went so downhill in Season 4. I stopped watching before the end as it had become so crap, what else does one expect when the entire original cast has left?!

I watched 'Sawney: Flesh of Man' also known as 'Lord of Darkness' starring David Hayman and Gavin Mitchell (best known as Boaby the barman from 'Still Game')

It's a horror that purports to be "Based on the true story of the highland's most infamous cannibal clan". I have an issue with that straight off since the story is neither true (based on legend) nor from the highlands but in fact from a legend originating in Dumfries & Galloway.

All the same, this is straight-up unadulterated popcorn horror on a low-budget with plenty of gore meriting the "18" certificate and some gruesome scenes of rape, sodomy and of course, cannibalism.

On a negative note, I feel the actor who portrayed the main protagonist was distinctly out of his depth but this could perhaps be set aside compared to Hayman's turn, where he goes a little OTT, verging on a pantomime villain of a performance!

I got it from free month trial on Lovefilms. I quite enjoyed it although its pretty tame compared to GoT or Spartacus. Interesting that its based on real characters. o/
