I did the same on Sunday with my family. It was the first time I'd been to Bournemouth, but not the last as I really enjoyed it. It was a really chilled and satisfying day at the beach. I'd definitely recommend it.

I was treated to a SPA in Bournemouth recently. Never been there before but will deinitiely be going there again. Such a great beach and lots of stuff to do! o/

Yes, definitely it's my beach of choice whenever I feel to hit the beach, amazing atmosphere always, fantastic views and lots and lots of golden sand and always and lots of people ! This week is a particularly good time to visit as it's the air show festival week and as eumenides pointed out the red arrows will be out to entertain! Plus they have a party/concert on the beach at night too with live performances, I would like to go again on Saturday as Lisa Standsfield is scheduled to perform, plus just even the beach itself is worth it :)

Thanks for the info moviemannn I didn't realise that they had so much on in there. I love the idea of the party/concert on the beach and in particular Lisa Stansfield who I've always liked. Although I bear in mind eumenides' note about traffic, particularly travelling from London, I'm definitely considering a trip again.

just home, came back hols with some kind of lurghi and have struggled into work all week. Thank goodness don't work Fridays, so hopefully lose this cold/flu or whatever :cross: :cross: Had to cancel the pictures and other things planned :wall: :wall:
