Watched Some Feature Length YouTube Comedy Called "Ashens And The Quest For The Gamechild". It was quite humourous!

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
Watched a Double Bill last night of The World's End and Detention
World's End wasn't as bad as i've been hearing (thankfully). Still just above the cusp of "Ok". Good structure, but not great. Ok laughs, but nothing hilarious, etc. Best thing it had was the strong character arc.
Detention is just amazing. Its like Community if it was directed by Edgar Wright. Very Layered, incredibly laugh out loud funny and reveling in Absurdism and cleverness. Very creative and its like Hot Fuzz in that its a Rubix Cube or Nestine Doll that sets up and pays off so much throughout the film at such a frenetic pace. Loved it.

I've recently been catching up via Lovefilm on a TV series from a few years back called 'Jericho'.
I'm absolutely loving this show and was pleased to stumble across this article too!

was a good show if a bit emo (excused in the Norties when emo-ism was rife), feeding on LOST's flashback format to meaningful effect (the way its C grade clone, Revolution, has been doing). There were times when it threatened to turn into Everwood but it just managed to stop short of that descent.
I wonder if they will do a 'five years on' storyline to marry up with the casts prospective ages.
I'd say it was crazy that a decent show was cancelled whilst crap new ones replaced it, but thats the given thing these days, it seems.

Well, I've just finished the sixth episode and I'm very much enjoying it! Attempting to steer well clear of any spoilers is proving difficult!raj101 wrote: was a good show if a bit emo (excused in the Norties when emo-ism was rife), feeding on LOST's flashback format to meaningful effect (the way its C grade clone, Revolution, has been doing).
