Decent movie 6/10
Reminds a bit of Taken or Silence of Lamb (but not as good of course)

You go out the cinema feeling like putting your nieces and girls to take some martial arts lessons actually..

I enjoyed the film more than I thought I would from the trailers and posters. Halle Berry did her best with a flimsy script and there were a few tense moments, but I have to say I quite liked the ending as it made me laugh! People have said they found the ending unbelievable - but never underestimate the desire for revenge! Overall a 3/5 star film.

It was well done, I thought, right up until the last 5 minutes. I just thought "What???!". Halle Berry ws good throughout and she did her best with a script that did need some more padding.
Sorry, just felt the end ruined it for me.

I'll just ditto what everyone has said....coz the ending was a bit unconvincing tbh.
I'm a Halle Berry fan...her acting was good...but the writers should've come up with a better climax. Everything else was on point, except for the reason behind the killings...and the ending.
I would recommend it to a friend though, it's quite good with a unique storyline.

I thought it was much better than I was expecting. A few jumpy bits - the lady sitting next to us jumped so much and so often we nearly fell off our seats ;)

I agree about the ending - that kind of spoilt the film - but still worth a look IMO

Saw this yesterday in Wimbledon. Contrary to expectations, I enjoyed it. Unlike most Sunday morning screenings, which tend to be more family-oriented, this was a fast paced thriller which kept me on the edge of my seat. I don't normally like the slasher/stalker genre of movie, however this was different as it was shown from the point of view of the 911 emergency room. It also showed us a good insight into the working of the emergency services. Halle Berry (despite the bad hair-do) was excellent as was Abigail Breslin (hasn't she grown up?!). Unlike a lot a posters here, I actually liked the ending, as, without giving too much away, it was different to the majority of films like this and I personally felt the perpetrator got his just desserts. I would give it 8/10 (an extra point for actually getting me to enjoy this type of movie contrary to my expectations).

Finally saw this at The Courthouse Hotel tonight. A very late screening, as there was another screening before, which Livi92 walked right into! Thanks for the company Livi. o/

Started well, tension built up well, but story felt over the top, some dark comedic scenes, and a clumsiness scene that just feels really over scripted. Most people in the screening just laughed or groaned at some of the stupidity of some of the scenes.
And what was it in that room, thought it would have been more scary judging by the expression of the girl, and what the abducted says to her.
The ending was disappointing, almost comedic!

The movie was great ... until the end .... where it turned comical and slightly crazy ! Kept me on the edge of my seat though all throughout and I was quite involved with the movie and the characters. It is a shame about the ending, was more of a comic relief after all the tension !

I wouldn't put anyone off watching it though as the whole movie itself is worth watching even the ending too as it does remind you in the end that it IS, after all, just a MOVIE !

Saw this at 10.30am Sunday morning showing as a hangover cure. It did the trick. A few jumps out the seat, a few what on earth is she doing THAT for moments and a decent enough story. Liked having a little insight into the callroom at the 911 centre even if it was just a movie version, but it made me think HOW can people do that in real life? Tooo traumatic. Would have pa*d to see it, but wasn't happy with the ending. 7/10.
