Thank you both for the kind comments. I do take lots of photos, but only on days when I am out sightseeing rather than walking. However, experience has shown me that my camera (Canon Ixus) is not good for taking photos of views when I want the distant background to feature - the lens is probably too basic. It's fine for shots of people, gardens, castles, etc, but not panoramas.

I went to a Film Quiz yesterday and have come to the sad realization that despite having thought I knew a thing or two about films, I actually know NOTHING compared to a lot of freaks out there. One of the answers for said quiz was "Rudolf Klein-Rogge" and even worse, they were deducting points for misspelling ! I've learnt a valuable lesson and I'm sticking to my usual quizzes from now on where I can at least place in the top three. I dread to think where we placed yesterday and didn't hang about to find out  I might bring along a copy of the quiz to the next FMUK shin dig and see how everyone else would have fared.

I know that the Picturehouse Greenwich do a film quiz every month - you can win cinema tickets but I haven't dared join a team yet for that exact reason so I know what you mean!

Must be a Picturehouse tradition; this was at Harbour Lights. It was beyond esoteric. I half expected a handful of people and arrived in a packed bar space explained by the pretty enormous £84 first prize and ticket giveaways. I might try the Greenwich one and compare them. It might be slightly more accessible for my trashier quality of knowledge :cross:

Great, a guinea pig! Let me know how it goes at Greenwich, if it's accessible, might join you some time.

Guinea pig ? Well, I think of myself more as a chinchilla but anyhoo you shall know me by my calm temperament and ability to access small spaces, not my furry ears.

Has anyone been to the future cinema before??

I'm tempted for ghost busters at the moment.
But £35 is a lot. Is it worth it ?
Does look fun tho from photos on Instagram
