I know the fresher the fruit/veg the better and it is very good for you. My husband makes pineapple/grapefruit and celery juice which is vile lol. Carrot juice is quite nice!

I'm just home from Remembrance Sunday parade

First time I've actually been part the parade it's self representing my dad and grandad.
Such a lovely day and a fantastic experience
I really admire some of these people.
One of the veterans was about 80 and although he wasn't able to walk far. He was determined to not have to go around in a wheelchair and walked the whole way
(So embarrassed as we were all complaining before about having to just stand there for 1hour
before )

Lovely and moving experience

It's great that OH does so much cooking (the mess is less appealing), but it's getting to the stage where I almost have to book a slot if I want a turn. He was even threatening to try making a cake this week - is nothing sacred? Got in quickly and made one myself this morning!

It is so cold here in Durham, if anything fell from the clouds, it would not be rain. 8O

Ak, Diane and myself visited your fair city yesterday and I think I speak for us all when I say what a lovely city it is. I must say though I think we were all disappointed with the illuminations.
Andrews you must have very thin blood as the weather was glorious. :D

I went to ideal home christmas show on the weekend

:xmas:
Omg. It was busiest I have ever seen it.
Lots of free samples (last year there was very few!)
Great fun. Really feel Christmassy now :D
b*ght lots of goodies and gifts
Including an advent calendar with charm bracket and charms behind each window.
My niece will love it :cross:
And I b*ght nicest christmas pudding ever
Apple strudel flavour. Omg it was so light and fluffy

Highly recommended even tho little more expensive

Survived the ordeal of the Northern Line yesterday from High Barnet to Moorgate and to be honest the commute is about the same as before so all good.
