Re: Green Zone
Saw this on Saturday night with our My City Deals vouchers so not bad for £1 each!
We both really enjoyed it. Good tension and story and good actiong by Matt Damon and I liked Brendan Gleeson too in it.
Yes probably a bit too Hollywoodised re the story but I gather the book makes many more stinging points.
8/10 from us.

Re: Green Zone
I saw this at the weekend as well and thought it was good but, especially considering as they advertise it as Bourne-like, that it first of all wasn't Bourne-like and secondly that it wasn't as good as a Bourne movie.

Re: Green Zone
I saw this at the Metrocentre tonight and I liked it a lot!
I thought it was a tough and gritty portrayal of life in Iraq after the fall of Sadam and the search for the elusive WMD in the light of suspect fabricated US intelligence.
The film had a newsreel quality about it with the handheld camerawork adding to the shot in the field feel. Some great characters and a good tense actionpacked storyline.
9 out of 10 from me for this one.

Re: Green Zone
I don't know if it's particularly newsworthy, but in the Metro today it said Prince William queued up to see The Green Zone on his break from RAF training and pa*d like everyone else
