Found a decent sit ups video here, giving a bit of variety. Choose 2 types and do 2 or 3 sets of each. Doesnt include the one I'm describing though but there's so many variations.

Actually this one is even better - really drills in the proper techniques.

In fact their whole channel http://www.youtube.com/sparkpeople seems like a good channel for proper workout videos to lose weight in the home. I think I'll really recommend this to everyone. Their newest video is a 10 minute kick boxing workout! Pretty good stuff, no need for you girls to b*y dvd workout vids!

For those of you that can will just do exercise at home, then I suggest using that above link for your routines. Have a rest day after each workout to start with or if your very keen and do 2 days in a stretch make sure each workout focuses on different parts of your body, so lowerbody on day 1, abs and upperbody on day 2 etc.

And take a look at this video for sparkspeople.com, showiong how to use the website to build your trianing program. This along with their youtube channel videos and chemenger's foodfocus.co.uk website, I think is an absolutely brilliant package of tools for all of you to lose weight. It even has videos for cooking healthy recipes.

The only thing about sparkspeople.com is, its very American but its apparantly the world's most popular weight loss site and its all free.

That's a different story, I will certainly be grunting a lot quicker. I have only got dumb bells and leg weights but could place a leg weight on my abs (gut) and give it a go. I also have problem inner thighs which need working on - This is like having a personal trainer. I too love Chemengers food focus website.
Hope everyone else is doing OK and once again thanks so much for the info o/

Some healthy Easter cake recipes: all the cakes are generally between 250-350 calories per serving. For your ONE comfort day ;) Have a nice Easter all, enjoy but dont go excessive and still remember your fitness goals!

Right, the weekend has arrived. It's time to take myself in hand. I'm going to begin by reading this thread from beginning to end, and see what pearls of wisdom I can pick up. Then I'll have to take action. The Weightwatchers cookery books are now beside my chair in the living room and I'm going for it. :D

I'm so so sorry I have let the side down :( I've eaten a buttons easter egg as my Sunday day off treat and then had to skip lunch as I had eaten too many calories  I have 2000 calories on a Sunday and 1500 on exercise days and 1300 on rest days. I know it goes against all the advice etc that everyone has given but I repent with contrition (I watched Chocolat yesterday while stuffing my face with the egg and that's what you have to do for forgiveness). I had given up chocolate for lent not even a sprinkling on my cappucino hence my gluttony took over
Hope everyone else is being good and I'm still allowed to be part of the team.
