Re: Weight Watchers
No one gets crucified or expelled here! You fall, you pick yourself up, if the the choc is weighing you down then we pick you up, lol! Just continue what you did before. And anyway, I dont see you did anything wrong at all. It was Easter, so I hope you enjoyed your buttons! I also had half a big Cadbury easter egg. I enjoyed it and know I wont be doing that often. You did brilliant making the Easter Sunday your comfort day. Remember, comfort days are not just about eating but to relax your mind and not think about dieting etc. Of course maintain quality eating as much as possible but dont stress over it :) The work you put in the other 6 days will more than compensate. Never stress, or regret a bad diet day, go forward and continue the journey!
Hope everyone had a great Easter :) And Keep reciting your goals

Diane, don't worry I think its good to treat yourself every now and then. I had half an easter egg yesterday and am planning on finishing it today. I went to the gym yesterday and spinning this morning so I'm hoping it will all even out

Re: Weight Watchers
This wednesday is the first fortnight progress review of our Fat Loss Motivation Project
Dont forget to weigh yourselves tomorrow or Wednesday (better still measure your body fat %) and let me know how much you lost (or added) and wether you have kept up your program. Anyone not making much progress will have the opportunity of analysing the areas that need changing in their eating/exercise habits.
Annej, sounds like you're really in control! Well done so far :)

Re: Weight Watchers
OK, I havent got everyone's results yet but this is how it looks so far and it looks good!

Brilliant.
Really well done to Diane65 for reaching the first set target...a step closer to looking like Charlotte!
And AnneJ has exceeded her target putting her ahead of schedule in reaching her holiday shape!
And a little pat on Mr Glass back too for exceeding his target, making that next step closer to taking advantage of Kate Winslet's current single status and vulnerability.
JMD, Allsinging, let us know how you got on :) And anyone else like to join in the motivation progress project are most welcome.
Some of you (including myself) have adopted a healthy balanced diet with a daily calorie deficit and high calorie day. It is the most recommended method. It has clearly worked for me, its working for Diane, and I am sure it works for everyone else who keeps to their program. Its important to use the the high calorie day to relax and eat what you feel like eating (try to eat quality calories as possible) BUT do not stress over it. Enjoy it. The logic of the high calorie day serves 2 main purposes. 1. to relax and reduce stress levels. SO enjoy what ever you are eating, even if its a cake or chocolate. 2. It prevents the body from thinking their is some shortage of food. If the body thinks their is a shortage, then it will switch on the Starvation Mode and we do not want that to happen as the body tries to store energy into fat and burn calories through muscle...very bad! SO Diane, next time you have your Easter egg on your high calorie day, savour the moment, dont feel guilty over it

Well done everyone! Some great progress. As I am moving at the moment I can't find my bathroom box in which my OH has packed the scales. But just realised my Wii weighs as well so will have to jump on that tonight and see the damage!

Re: Weight Watchers
lol, be brave girl, it doesnt matter about whether you went up or down, we're all going to have ups and downs. I know I will, and already had plateus and even added weight on a couple of occasions. This is a journey, without the downs it wont be an adventure, otherwise. The fun will be analysing where we go wrong, and going forward with new strategies, learning as we go along :)jmd1983 wrote:Oh dear, have weighed myself....am too scared to post here!!
Besides, I cant wait for us to analyse where you might be going wrong,

Re: Weight Watchers
Haha glad I am such a source of entertainment
.
Can tell you where I went wrong though: too much chocolate over Easter and 'finishing' all the ice cream left in the freezer before we move in a few weeks. Never mind that I actually b*y new ice cream to fill those empty spaces in the freezer regularly! Somehow the frozen spinach doesn't quite appeal as much.

Re: Weight Watchers
Lol, I had a blip last night, Pizza Hut and easter egg, not a good combination, but I really enjoyed it
I’m not going to weigh myself until next week, when I’ve undone the damage, I‘ll just have to work extra hard at the gym!!
I still have 2 easter eggs left, I seem to have no willpower when it comes to easter eggs, not sure why as I don’t usually eat much chocolate!!
Just wondered does anyone else have trouble sleeping when they’ve been exercising a lot? I always thought it would make me sleep more, I go off ok, but then find after about 7 hours I wake up and can’t sleep anymore, then find I’m tired in the afternoon??
