Could it have something to do with the email notification system just being terribly slow? I just found loads of email alerts for Free Films or Private Messages in my inbox, reaching back to 4 February, and they had only just arrived!

Sounds more like a mail server or routing problem which is only just being fixed. Time to stop blaming this site then as I haven't had such problems.

Threads get moved from Free Films elsewhere sometimes... what was the last thread you got an alert for? Search for that, mark it read and you should be alright.

I usually mark the one on free films - isn't that enough as all the threads show up white?
